I made a mistake ordering this "waterproof" shade sail. I didn't realize it until it was delivered. It catches a lot of wind just like tarp used for as a material cover. It does not stretch so it's difficult to tighten. I wanted a "permeable" shade sail so it would not catch a lot of wind and cause excessive stress on the tie down points. I will take the loss since it was not very expensive and I made the mistake.

We only had this shade up for about a month and when it rained it actually held all the water and stretched out. Now it has no shape, just sags.

Got this Shade Sail to put in my chicken run area to give my chickens some shade from our summer sun and to also keep them dry from the rain. We've had many days recently where we've had some crazy strong wind and this sail has held up like a champ with no wear or tear. It is water resistant and my chickens are happy with it and so am I.
