If I could rate this book one million stars I would! Next to the Bible this is my go to book! Florence Shinn was waaay ahead of her time as far as the so called law of attraction is concerned. She has a way with words and wisdom that draws the reader in and makes otherwise complicated subjects such as health, wealth, life and manifestation, very easy to understand. The confessions (affirmations) are simple yet powerful and easy to incorporate into the heart of the reader, especially when done on a consistent basis. I find that repeating them out loud is much more powerful. With that being said, this book has been life changing for me. It truly is a priceless gem!

I’ve owned the hard copy for years, but read with the lights out on my tablet, so this was a must. I find myself constantly reading Florence’s books. There is always a nugget to gain, an affirmation that fits in my life just right or a good reminder to bring back around. I recommend her books to everyone!!

I really like this book. A lot of books on manifestation are very masculine and I think this one adds a nice spiritual and emotional aspect. I love that it's 100 years old and still so relevant. I resonate with her affirmations. After I started reading this, a book company accidentally sent me a book by Bob Proctor called "Born Rich" and I definitely took that as a sign that I'm on the right track!

I am so glad that I made the decision to purchase this book. Im only on chapter 2, but it has already helped me so much. The text is easy to follow and read, with no errors, concise, and straight to the point. I like how there are personal scenarios and examples of how being mindful of the present moment can offer hope to a positive future. Im looking forward to reading this book and applying what I've learned.

In an interview Louise Hay credited the book "The Game of Life and How to Play It" by Florence Scovel Shinn as her initial inspiration for her own work and her book "You Can Heal Your Life", so I ordered this, since Louise Hay's work has helped me a lot. This is a great book, a collection of all Florence Scovel Shinn's writings, including some she never published. Very interesting to see how these concepts were framed in the 1920's, etc. Still inspiring today. The book production quality is excellent, without the typos so often found in this sort of reissuance of an older work.

I have found this collection of books by Florence Scovall Shinn to be the most instructional book of what I call "sprititual alchemy" other than the Bible. I carry it around with me wherever I go the same as I do the copy of my bible. The affirmations contained within her various works assist an individual to transform their thought patterns from thoughts that are fear based to faith based. For Faith is the absence of fear & fear is the absence of faith- they are mutually exclusive. Shinn's work far preceded in time the books "The Law of Attraction" and "The Secret" both of which have been widely read by those of this generation. Shinn's works preceded these by 75 years or more & in my opinion are far more instructional on how to change thoughts of anxiety, fear, & doubt to a state free from worry, depression, & mental / emotional pain. I have given this book to atleast a 1/2 a dozen people to help them change their fear based reality to one of faithfilled through the use of the affirmations contained within Schinn's works. Everyone I have given her works to has found them helpful. There are many biblical affirmations as well as affirmations in Edgar Cayce's writings that are equally as helpful. However, I found the sheer number of affirmations assembled in the collection and the conciseness of Shinn's catagorizing these affirmations to be a veritable treasure trove which assist one in changing one's mental enviornment in which one lives; thereby leading to a transformation of their world view & ultimately their lives. Well, I should only speak of myself I suppose, but I have seen it work in the lives of others as well. I think reading the collection is profitable for anyone who has read, the "Law of Attraction" or "The Secret"; as well as anyone who is interested in transforming thoughts of fear in their lives to thoughts of success & freedom from anxiety which ultimately will change what events they "attract" to themselves thereby transforming their thought process & their world.

They say, the teacher comes when the student is ready. That is all i want to say about this book. If you have come across this book by any chance. Universe is showing you the path, just buy the book and give it a read. In case you have read main stream books like Power of subconscious mind and The secret. You would be surprised to see the thought process of Florence Shinn. A mind eye opening book. Wishing good health, prosperity, peace, love, joy and abundance to whoever is reading this.

This book for me is about your timing of your life. I have believed a lot in my self in my life and worked very hard to go forward in it. A time has come we’re it didn’t work any more and I asked were do I go from here? This was put in front of me. It takes a lot to have faith and I am blessed.

Amazing books! We are so lucky to have these available to us. Thank you Florance. I bought one if her books in 2013 and could never get into it. Donated the book. And I was ready for it this year. Some people may be turned off by the bible quotes, and they are overwhelming at first, but i found them to be helpful many of times to bring more clarity through their examples. After a while I got used to them and let go of my resistance, and received😊. Every day before I go to sleep, I say hello to Florance and the book, express gratitude and ask what I need to expand tonight and what will contribute? I always open it “randomly” and always read what I require clarity about… without a fail. The book is getting colorful highlights, as I find it is easier to go straight to the lines that jumped at me when I first read them.

Best book you can ever read
