My overall rating would have been a "5" had it not been that removing the sticker on the handle was such a hassle. Otherwise it is perfect. Wanted it to use in scooping out from small containers. Now I would like to find a slotted spoon the same size in porcelain.

You can rely on it, but with complete care that it does not fall from you to the ground, as it may break, I think

We have a white porcelain gravy boat and had broken the ladle that came with it. This matches the white porcelain perfectly and the size is perfect for the gravy boat.

I bought this ladle for a traditional white gravy boat with a handle at one end and a pouring lip at the other. The opening is 7" long x 3" wide. This ladle is just long enough so that the top of the ladle handle doesn't fall into the boat and get gravy all over it, but just barely. The spoon end of the ladle is a little on the small side, The white porcelain is bright white. The quality and finish are good, except for the very end of the ladle handle where there is no porcelain on the underside -- unfortunately having a rough spot in that area is pretty noticeable when I use it. Still, it is a serviceable ladle that works for my particular gravy boat.

Its a little wider than I thought, but it fits in the gravy boat I have if I use it side ways
