This is a great little book! Twirl to your heart's content! And smile!
Love it!I am a grandmother who began baton twirling as a toddler, having been taught by my mother, one of three twirling champion sisters. Determined to have another generation of champion baton twirlers, my mother had a baton specially made for me when I was an infant. I have a picture of me as a baby teething on that baton or I would not have believed it either! LOL!Anyhow, I have arthritis in my neck and shoulders and my physical therapist suggested I practice twirling my baton as part of my therapy.I read this book to remind myself of all the maneuvers I knew I'd forgotten. I found this book to be well-written, informative and so much fun. The illustrations and instructions are great! Very helpful for my purposes! I might be challenging to learn baton twirling from this book alone. Personal instruction, lessons on person are the best, but, this book is a great supplement to instruction.Of Note: I am not a champion baton twirler, just an old backyard twirling enthusiast, long retired from my twirling with my school marching bands!

SO many typos, but simple and fairly clear.
There are a lot of typos in here, but it gave my daughter nice simple instructions with pictures. Great for beginners.

LOVE the Game of Love!
Just finished Game of Love over the weekend. What an excellent page-turner. The characters are real and compelling. Had to stay up past my bedtime a few nights - couldn't put the book down. And, I'm not usually a love story fan. This is one of the best written books I have read in a while, and I've read a lot. My wife is looking forward to starting the book this afternoon on her lunch break. Hurry up, Ara, with your next book - can't wait.

Okay
It's okay. It would be helpful to have more pictures. Directions were a little confusing. My 11 yr old is the one reading and doing. This is the best book I could find on the subject though.

Brought back my skills
Used this book to teach my grand-nieces how to twirl a baton. They would rather have had a video but this was much easier for me to follow, remember, and instruct.Lots of pictures, easy and fun (with NO technology!)

Give the kids an opportunity and they’ll learn.
My 9 year old had to demonstrate a new skill for school. She chose baton twirling. Kids enjoyed this ‘diminishing’ skill, fascinating. Sign up sheets were sent out this year for classes from a local instructor.
