Awkward to Put On but does Help!
This was selected to seek a different type of Tendonitis Arm Band. My husband already had a selection of arm bands but only two helped! Since one of them is pretty worn, and I am not able to find the exact one, this is to be in the rotation of his arms bands. He took an injury to the upper arm tendons some years ago, and now, he has developed some minor damage to the Common Extensor Tendon. The ARMSTRONG AMERICAN ARM BAND is somewhat awkward to put on at first. After trial and error, he & I put it on him. And he had it on for a while. Eventually, he told me it felt like it was applying some compression to location of the ache. The VELCRO seems to be of good quality. So, to me it may last for a while! I will be handwashing when it is necessary and air drying which should extend the longevity of it. My call on this is, you don't know if it works, until you try it.

Well made but doesn't work for me.
This strap seems well made and versatile. Instructions were a little bit confusing as to how to put it on in that it is a little difficult as I can only use one hand. It is made for the forearm, but my issue is above the elbow. I have a similar strap that works well wearing it slightly above the elbow, so I was looking for a second strap as a backup. Since this strap is not as wide as the strap I have, this strap is not as comfortable and not as effective for me. Still, it may be effective for someone with other arm pain issues that need some support.

works great for my tennis elbow
I do alot of weightlifting and every now and then my elbow starts feeling the strain and I get the dreaded tennis elbow also known as tendonitis. This elbow brace is made of a strong nylon and sticky velcro, and what I like about it most over the elbow sleeves I tried in the past for tendonitis, is a compression area for the targeted affected area, to apply treatment to where its needed most. Putting this on is a bit tricky since of course I can only put in on with one hand, but once its on the velcro is extra sticky to keep it secure and stable on my elbow. I don't use this strap during exercise since I get pretty sweaty, I use my elbow sleeves for that since they tend to stay secure even with a lot of sweat. But this strap comes in pretty handy and gives me good support after my workout to quicken recovery time and prevent the tendonitis from getting too bad.

Don't know how it works, but it does!
This is very simple to put on. It comes in two pieces - the first one slips over your hand and up to your elbow, then velcros into place. It is not necessary to get this piece particularly snug because the second piece handles that, so you don't find yourself struggling one-handed to pull it tight. The strap that goes on top has velcro on both ends, so you stick it to the piece that is already on, pull snug, and secure the other end. And somehow, if you get the placement of the pressure pad right, it works. Acupressure magic that I just don't understand, but I'm grateful for it. I am right-hand dominant and was unfortunate enough to have my right arm affected by tennis elbow, so even so much as lifting my coffee cup hurts on one of the worse days. This little device lets me caffeinate without that ache, lol.

Strong velcro & the 2-layer wrapping system works great for me.
This elbow brace is made from high quality materials & strong velcro. I like that it has a compression area for targeted area. The fitting is a little tricky because it is a 2-layer wrapping system. The inner layer isn’t very tight, but it allows for a precise placement of the gel cushion. The outer layer provides a more stronger compression & a very secure fitting during movement. The elbow brace supports my weak forearm with tendinitis very well during exercise. I also like that I don’t need to wash the outer layer too often because it doesn’t make contact with my skin.

Didn't help me
I've developed tennis elbow from mountain biking with a 53 year old body and no shocks. It's painful and hard to heal. This brace did not help me. I had a hard time getting it positioned and then keeping it in place. What has helped is resting it and applying heat with a heating as much as a I can.

Less bulky than other tendonitis bands
The Armstrong Amerika Tennis Elbow Strap Tendonitis Arm Band is a slim tendonitis band, compared to many other tennis elbow bands. This band is well-constructed and uses high-quality velcro. I like how this band has a sleeker profile than other bands; I almost forgot it's on when I'm wearing it. My tendonitis is not flaring up at the moment, so I am not experiencing much pain or soreness in the elbow, but I could feel the band applying gentle pressure when using my arm. It is a little bit hard to put on by yourself, and the instructions for it could be written a little better. Note that this contains only one band, and many of the more common tendonitis band products will offer a pair of bands for the price of this single band.
