Are the beads smooth or do they have a seam in them?

Hello, I can tell you that all the beads have a nice tight seam. When we work with these beads in our studio, we toss out any that do not have a nice tight seam on them. I've seen other brands here on Amazon that have gaping seams. Just look at the zoomed in photos and you'll see the difference in what I mean. Our Gunmetal version of this rosary has some finishing on it that really hides the seams altogether. This one, is naturally silver because the beads are stainless steel so they will never tarnish and there is no plating that will wear off over time like other brands. They stay looking nice even with long term use. And remember, we stand behind our product with excellent customer service which we are known for, so if you do find a problem with your rosary, we can replace it promptly. Is this a "loud" rosary? i have a silver one from roman catholic man, and the jingling it makes is distracting when i use it in church.

The beads are not solid on the chain so they do move around , they are also hollow so it may be louder than the one you have ???

Is the cross and St. Benedict piece also made of 100% stainless that won't wear away?

Yeah. With this particular model you can get either the St. Benedict cross or traditional pardon crucifix. But TBH I would put down the money for a real combat rosary. They're more expensive but the are much more heavy duty. Mine actually broke 😱
