Great quality product to use on doggie upset stomach and/or for acid reflux. Easy use with measured dropper.

I want to start off wirh the positive by saying that this product has helped my dogs so much. I have one with diabetes and one pancreatitis, this has helped both of them with tummy issues. I'm very impressed with this product. That said, they put a bar code label right over the dosage amount. The label does come off and not stick to the dosing so bad that it rips it or anything so you can still read it but the label should not go there. I received two with that label in that spot. The second criticism I have is that the 2 oz bottle comes with a dropper that does not have the milliliters on it. The smaller, one ounce bottle, the Dropper has milliliters on it so you know how much to give your dog. I'm using the smaller dropper for the bigger one to dose them, however there will come a day when it won't reach to the bottom and I'll have to pour it out into something to get the dropper to the bottom. I don't understand why there's no labels on the bigger dropper. Maybe I'll save the smaller bottle and just fill it over and over with the bigger bottle. The larger bottle is a better buy. Just annoying that they didn't think that we need dosing in the bigger bottle.

Always have on hand for my dogs. Helps speed up recovery with digestive upset and respiratory illness. I use it weekly for regular maintenance support. My dogs will take it mixed in their food but if they have an upset stomach I can easily squirt in their mouth. Only complaint is the markings on the dropper are impossible to see

My foster Shepherd has a mild case of Megaesophagus but horrible GERD. (common with this condition.I researched to find Slippery Elm is very helpful. I tried this and he loves it so much, when he sees me coming with it, he just laps it right in his mouth as I squirt it little by little. He's getting relief and I'm happy. I give it to him twice daily before his meals.

Of course with any new product, keep an eye on your pet when giving something new. I am in a CKD facebook group and had heard of slippery elm and did some reading up on it. I have used this for almost a month now and my cat has only thrown up once. She has IBD along her with recently diagnosed CKD about a year ago. I wanted to see if this would help with her getting sick, and so far it has been amazing. I mix it once in the morning with her Weruva low phos wet treats and a little water, and again in the evening with her CKD wet food. She took to it right away and I am grateful this product exists to help her!

We bought this for our cat, who has gastrointestinal issues due to CKD and IBD. When we mixed two drops in her canned food, she rejected it since she detects everything. We put a drop of the tincture in a size 4 capsule with a few drops of water, but that method sent her directly to the litter box with an upset stomach. Since that is what we are precisely trying to avoid, we decided against giving her more. We were excited about this supplement after reading good things about it, and we liked that this item was specifically for pets, but unfortunately, it did not work for us.
