I intially brought it for mounting my lenovo legion 7i pro gen 8 but the mount just barely fits my laptop and in the rear side the rubber bump under the laptop came in contact making it even worse So I used it for lenovo yoga with 3M adhesive The metal used feel very cheap for the price, it can be bend with one hand if subsequent force is applied Also be aware it's not properly painted and could scratch the devices but comes with adhesive pads(works somewhat) Better only buy it for thin laptop so that it have enough breathing space in between and wont scratch and wont be heavy on mount Hope this helps

recently installed the Under Desk Laptop Mount to organize my home office, and it’s been a total game-changer! This mount is sturdy, easy to install, and perfectly secures my laptop under my desk, freeing up precious surface space. The three-piece design felt intuitive to assemble—I just screwed the brackets directly into my desk’s underside using the included hardware (a drill made it quick, but it’s doable with a screwdriver too).

I have a thinner profile leverless controller for gaming and this was excellent for mounting it under my desk. I didn't install the back piece to accommodate the wire. I did NOT try it for a laptop but I assume it would be fine for lighter, thinner profile laptops as it feels secure. For what I wanted it for, it was perfect.

Solid metal brackets and will work great, however screws are certainly not countersunk as per description. Screws are instead Hex Head Phillips screws (probably the worst possible screw head for 'anti-scratch').

not mounted - supplied screws not appropriate for task, bracket is nothing special, rubber 'protective' strips could have been pre-attached to bracket instead of supplied on strip of film no 'auxillery adhesive sticker' as mentioned in (advertised) mounting guide 'adjustable width' would mean unscrewing original mount position, realign width, and remounting - not my idea of (easily) adjustable
