Pavesini (Pack of 4) - 7 oz

My husband mentioned that he loved Pavesini cookies crowing up in Italy. I searched them online and found them on Amazon. He was very happy my surprise. The cookies are smaller than the ones he had growing up, but they may not make the larger ones anymore. He is, nonetheless, very happy with these cookies. They are light and tasty.

I am not sure how healthy those are, but it’s my toddlers favorite morning snack. I know if he is still hungry after his breakfast, I can easily give him his ‘cappuccino’ milk foam with those cookies and he will savor them like a true Italian.

Arrived fresh and good

These little cookies are quite addictive. They come sensibly wrapped into 8-packs, which can be consumed all at once almost guilt-free: the basic ingredients are few, simple and healthy, the individual cookies are small and airy, thus light on the calories, and the flavor is not marred by fake anything. I know that other purchasers use them to make tiramisu, which I've only tried to make with the much larger savoiardi--and I'm guessing it must come out much less "cakey." In any case, if you can control yourself, 2 or 3 individual Pavesini can make a delightful, unfussy accompaniment to your tea or coffee.

The product, a food item (4 X 7 oz packages of biscuits), arrived as advised; the individual packages were in tact (not crushed, pierced, torn); item is intended as a gift, so I am unable to inspect the actual contents; use-by date is 10/2023, which seems normal. Basically, I'm satisfied.

While visiting Siena, Italy, I attended a cooking class which included a demonstration to make tiramisu. These crisp, mildly sweet cookies were recommended and were delicious in the dessert. They're also quite tasty to snack on at only 8 calories each. They aren't spongy like ladyfingers and don't absorb as much coffee, keeping the dish light with just hints of coffee flavor. Highly recommend!
