I bought it for my daughter so she could clip her water bottle to her backpack, which had no side pockets. So far, it has not come apart, nor has it retained any odors from getting wet.

These handles are great. Too bad there are so few options that will fit the narrow mouth bottles.

I love this as my daughters 60oz water flask included a flimsy handle which broke soon after purchase. She loves this as it is easy to hold and durable, would definitely recommend!

I bought this for my Hydroflask standard mouth bottle (no notch.) It was a real bear to put the rubber ring on, but here's how I did it. First, take the cord off the rubber ring. It's too much of a bother to have it in the way, you can put it back on afterwards.Next, heat up that ring! I used very hot tap water to get that baby nice and toasty. Then I hooked one edge on the bottle and pried it on. It was NOT easy, but it was a lot easier than it was cold. Then I restrung the cord, a hemostat or screwdriver helps to get it through the now very snug holes.Much more of a production than I expected, but I don't think it will come off short of a nuclear blast.

In the interest of transparency, I do not have a Hydro Flask bottle. I bought this for a bottle that is 2.75" in diameter with a mouth opening of 1.75". You would have to have superhuman strength to fit this onto a 2.75" diameter bottle. The interior diameter of the ring is ~1". See photos. Sorry, it's being returned.

Love this item! Got it for a trip to Disney world to lock on to my backpack, BEST THING EVER! I will pretty much be using it for any day trip or vacation ever. Loved it so much I ordered a second one as soon as we arrived home for my boyfriends backpack.

No instructions, and the rubber cuff looks WAY too small to fit over the mouth of my new 24oz. HydroFlask. I almost sent it back but decided to read the reviews first. That’s where I found some help! The rubber cuff stretches quite a lot and as long as you have strong fingers/thumbs you can stretch it enough to fit. It seems sturdy and tight enough (!) that it will stay put. I haven’t put it to the test yet.
