The handles aren't too thick and the finish is perfect, smooth yet good grip. Been using them a couple weeks now and not a nick yet. I've ordered the 2 of the 22lb yes4alls and returned 1 due to uneven paint, especially on handles; these 2 are very even all around compared to the 22s, not as glossy but very uniform and clean. The size is compact, not one of those really tall ones (not a fan of those). Really couldn't be happier with these and they were a great price, too good to pass up and I probably use them more than any of my others. I'll update with pics in a few days.
