I always like to have covers on my wheelchair hand rims to make them easier to grip. These new ones work really well and don't slip on the rims as my previous ones did. It's also fun that they come in so many different colours. The attached photo is taken when we were travelling in Spain and visiting the AlHambra Palace in Granada.

I bought these to replace a set I’d gotten years ago. They came quickly, but I soon found that either the seller has sent the wrong size (order 24”) or they’re just not good if you’re an active wheelchair user. They were next to impossible to get on, but we managed it, and then within a week of doing lots of wheeling, they’d just pop off for no reason. We ended up having to secure them with cable ties at certain points, and even then they’d just pop off in the midst of wheeling. In the end I went off Amazon since all the buyers here are pretty much, it seems, the same seller/make and got some from a small business who make them. Those are more like my old ones, seem to be better made and I can easily wheel a lot without having to worry about the rims popping off. These are not a good fit, they slip and slide, and as I said, you have to cable tie them all around the rim to stop them from just coming off. I only bought new ones as my old ones were tired and needed replacing, but I would not recommend these at all if you’re an active user. If you’re just looking to decorate your chair, they might be okay, but buy with caution because they pop off and are difficult to get back on.

I found my hands were slipping on the smooth rims. These have made a big difference. I love the orange colour as it matches the orange on my wheelchair. Easy to put on. They are also good quality. I would definitely recommend.

Measured wheels, double checked and still too big for wheelchair, had cut to fit. Waste of money 😢
