## Description

HP5 PLUS is a high speed, medium contrast film making it especially suitable for action and press photography and also an excellent choice for general purpose photography. Nominally rated at ISO 400, it yields negatives of outstanding sharpness and fine grain under all lighting conditions. HP5 PLUS has been formulated to respond well to push processing and film speeds up to EI 3200/36 are achievable with ILFORD MICROPHEN developer maintaining good shadow detail and well separated mid-tones with sharp grain.

Review: Perfect for photography! - This was perfect for my photography class, worked perfectly with the camera I was provided. This was very cheap but very good quality! The film always came out perfect (unless I messed up of course, but not the products fault), and the development time was always on point!
Review: Fantastic Film! - Well folks, I don't know about you but I am stocking up on my favorite films, and FAST. I couldn't find the HP5+ PRINT film on Ilford's website, so I'm not sure if they have stopped making it, or maybe it's just not featured. Either way, it's a good time to stock up, and film keeps past it's expiration date. The Ilford HP5+ is an EXCELLENT all-around film, with fine grain, sharp images, and most of all it responds very well to push-processing. There really isn't much more you could ask for in a film. It currently is priced very closely to other Ilford films of less quality (Delta comes to mind) so for this price and free desertcart shipping, you better swoop it up quick! PROS - Fine grain - Sharp images - Beautiful contrast - Easy to develop - Responds well to push-processing CONS - Only comes in 400 (although it works well in all lighting!) OVERALL Grab a roll, shoot develop and print it, and you will see the amazing difference this film makes! Definitely recommended to any photographer, but I challenge you to bring this on a special shoot that you want to make prints from...you will be amazed!

## Features

- High Speed ISO 400

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be taken to a box store to get developed or is it film that i have to do myself?**
A: You could probably have it developed at Costco, they have a high quality photo processing setup. I don't think Walgreens is an option for b&w anymore, and I wouldn't bet on Walmart either. It is excellent film, and yields really fine results. I know a lot of photographers that don't have darkrooms available that ship their film to B&H in New York for processing, though I have never done so myself, so I couldn't tell you any pricing info for that. Hope this was helpful.

**Q: Will this fit in any 35mm camera?**
A: This is 35mm film and uses a standardized 35mm film canister. If your camera says it accepts 35mm film (or 135 format film), this should fit and work with it no problem. There are a couple of other film formats that are the same width, but they don't say they're 35mm or 135 format, so check your camera make and model to see what format it accepts. This film is 35mm, or more formally, 135 format film.

**Q: This batch looks to be expired. Any chance you have the exp dates for this item?**
A: exp date is 04/2021

**Q: anybody know where I can get this? 17.5mm Ilford black-and-white film ..i have an old comic book camera (spy camera)Thanks**
A: Try B&H Photo, it's a maybe
