You can't go wrong with Amana Tool. Precision Cutting and Long-Lasting Quality
The Amana Tool 45475-S is hands down one of the best flush trim router bits I’ve used! The carbide-tipped blade is incredibly sharp, providing smooth, precise cuts with no tear-out. It runs effortlessly through hardwood, plywood, and even MDF, leaving a clean edge every time. The build quality is excellent, and the bit stays sharp even after multiple uses. The bearing spins smoothly, making it easy to guide along templates. Definitely a must-have for any woodworker looking for a reliable, high-quality router bit. I highly recommend

A tiny bit that’s worth the price
Yes this is a tiny bit, yes you have to go a little slower, but the bit works. I used this on a clock face that I was making out of teak. The template had cut outs for the numbers that required a very, very small bit. I slowed down the router and the bit cut through the teak like butter leaving a smooth cut out. If you have a template with narrow cut outs I’d recommend this bit, just go slow and the bit will be fine.

Snapped Faster Than My Confidence
I really wanted to love the Amana Tool 47222-S. On paper, it’s exactly the bit I needed. In reality, it turned my woodworking project into a lesson in emotional resilience. Bit #1 snapped shortly after starting—cutting prime pine, at a gentle 1/8” pass, moving slow enough to make a sloth impatient. I had read the bad reviews, so I babied this thing like a museum artifact. Still broke. Clean snap, same spot as in the reviews. Thinking I just got a dud, I exchanged it. Bit #2 lasted a little longer (progress!), then snapped in the exact same place. For the record: no discoloration, no burn marks, no signs of abuse. This bit did not die bravely in battle—it simply gave up. At this point I was forced to get creative. Needing a small bit with a top bearing, I wrapped painter’s tape around a spiral cut bit and made my own DIY solution. Shockingly, this worked better. Yes, I had to replace the tape often and yes, this sentence should never have to exist in a review for a premium router bit. I truly wish this bit worked, because it seems to be the only one with these specs. Unfortunately, after two identical failures, I can’t recommend it unless your project involves learning patience, practicing returns, or exploring arts-and-crafts-level engineering. One star for ambition. Zero stars for durability.

Amazing.
Should have got one of these before! I used it (so far) to make an accent/inlay line around a circle. Previously used a straight bit and that one left lines when I plunged into the work piece that I'd have to attempt to sand out. This one is amazing; pretty sharp, cut very smoothly, and left a super clean line with no sanding needed when plunging. I don't think you can go wrong with this bit.

Beware of short shaft
Purchased this to use trim router for cabinet door hinges. Didn't look closely enough at specs. It cut well and clean into red oak but I only wish the 1/4 shaft was a tad longer to work better with my jig template. The shaft is only 1 inch long or about 2.6 cm

Broke on first use.
So I initially not happy because the cutting edge didn’t go all the way to the bearing… so if you have a thin template you can only cut about a 1/16” before stopping to trim the “lip” formed between the bearing and the cutting edge. Annoying, but not a deal breaker. Until the thing just snapped in half! I was routing an existing cavity slightly larger and wasn’t using much pressure. Maybe I just got a defective one, but I doubt it. The broken shaft was hollow!

Perfect for complex/intricate geometry inlays
This tool is awesome. I could not have been successful without it. First, I roughed out the pockets to full depth in multiple passes with a .125 carbide upcut bit using an inlay kit guide without the bushing. Then I switched to this bit and completed the pockets in two passes (depth). Super sharp bit easily cut this end grain cutting board like butter. Highly recommend if you looking for precise controlled cutting for intricate designs. I also used the flush trim bit to create the inlay pieces on my router table. The results are stunning.

High quality bit. If you've never used one, you don't know what you're missing!
Let me start by saying that this is the first trim bit I've ever owned. And it is AWESOME! I'm building an arcade cabinet and this allowed me to "copy" the left and right side pieces so that they were exactly the same size. It worked very well cutting through 3/4" MDF core plywood. I have since used it to clean up trim that I mounted around the edges so they sit flush. (As the product name implies) One thing to keep in mind is that this bit trims product BELOW it. If you have to pieces of wood stacked on top of each other, the piece on the TOP is your guide/template, and the piece on the BOTTOM is what will be cut. I eventually also bought another trim bit where the bearing is on the bottom of the bit. This allows me to trim a piece on TOP to match a piece on the BOTTOM. Having both is very handy to clean up overlaps and to make cuts based on templates. Overall this is a very handy tool and the quality of this Amana bit specifically is top notch.

Schrott!

I got this bit to lower the neck pocket of a guitar body. This has a proper stopper for the bearing as opposed to the one stewmac sells which only has a plastic tube. Smooth bearings and a very sharp bit.

I needed a small follower bit to do a custom job for a customer and this was about the smallest I could find. The bearing is SO smooth it produced really nice cuts along with the sharp flutes on the bit itself. My first amana bit and I was impressed with the quality.
