Wrangler Men's Cowboy Cut Stretch Slim Fit Jeans

Bought jeans for husband
They are not slim fit. They fit my husbands waist but are very loose in the thighs & legs. Material is good. Thickness is good. We’ll made jeans, but not slim fit. He will have to get them tailored.

These will stretch with wear; will feel tight at first and that's the point..
If you're looking for 100% cotton jeans without plastic these are the best I've come across. They will feel tight to stary but that is because they are 100% cotton and not elastic/standex/cotton blends. Full cotton jeans are getting hard to find but if you wear them in they are the most comfortable, long-lasting, and plastic-free jeans you'll find. These wear great with boots and have a good taper without the bell bottom look of bootcut. That they come in several colors is another plus.

FIT PERFECT (I'm a woman)
Never buy jeans online. Can't find right fit. I am 5'6, 118 lbs. I am a woman. I was desperate to find comfortable NON stretch jeans. These ( 29x32 MENS cowboy cut) fit perfect. I can find Wranglers here, small town Colorado, but, NOT the slim fit. The jeans that have "elastic" crap in them NEVER work for me. So Happy I have a new resource for jeans!

Get the regular fit slim will shrink
Reading reviews it is saying that these pants will shrink , they are already a bit tight at waist .

Great fit!
So far Wrangler Cowboy Cut Slim Fit jeans are the only jeans that fit my slim, 6’4” tall husband perfect. He has always had a horrible time trying to find jeans that fit him until he finally tried the Wrangler Cowboy Cut Slim Fit jeans. Not only do they fit perfect, they also look great on him!!!

I’d say go on size up for the waist
Go one size up for the waist, especially if you plant on tucking a flannel or other shirt. The pockets are also very tight but look good, so that’s the trade off.

First time Wrangler Buyer - So far, pretty good
This is a review for the Wrangler 936DEN (Cowboy-Cut Slim-Fit) Rigid (Unwashed) Jeans. Preference in jeans is such a personal matter, let me set the table with my perspective. First, this is the first pair of Wranglers I have ever owned. I don't think I even had a pair as a child. In recent years my go-to jeans have been the Levi's 501 Shrink-to-Fit in either Rigid Indigo or Rigid Black. I purchase those jeans in a size 34/34. Those can usually be purchased on Amazon for about $35. I also have a pair of the Made-in-USA 501 Shink-to-Fit Selvedge in size 33/34 (they are cut a little different in the seat and waist). The Selvedge model appears to only be available on Levi's web site. They appear to ONLY be available from Levi's web site. I purchased mine several months ago for $128 but they now appear to be over $150.Using the well-publicized method of soaking the 501's in very hot water, drip drying, towel drying, and then wearing the jeans damp for several hours, I am able to achieve a PERFECT fit. I like to turn up a small cuff of about 3/4 to 1 inch so I could purchase a length of 33 if I opted out of the cuff. (BTW - I DO NOT like my pants to hang off the back of my heals so my choice in length would be too short for those that like a "big break" with their hem.)Online research frequently turns up strong endorsements of the various versions of Wrangler "Cowboy Cut" Jeans (13mwz, 47mwz, 936den, etc.) and the passion that is often expressed for these garments brought me to drop $25 and give them a try. While there are some conflicting customer online comments regarding the fit of the various versions of the Cowboy Cut Jeans, I chose the 936DEN (Slim Fit Rigid). My hope was that the 936DEN style would get me closest to the 501 fit that I liked. There still is some occasional online misinformation regarding the denim that is used for the "Rigid" versions of the all of the Cowboy Cut Wranglers. I can attest with 100% certainty that they ARE NOT made of un-sanforized denim like the Levi's Shrink-to-fits. However, the Wranglers ARE NOT prewashed, and therefore WILL shrink noticeably, but not nearly as dramatically as un-sanforized Levi's. Regardless, knowing that I was going to get some degree of shrinkage with the Wrangler product, I opted to use the same soaking and drip drying routine I use for the Levis. (Soak in hot water in the bath tub, drip dry, blot dry with beach towels, and wear damp.)I'm wearing the Wranglers for my second day and the jeans HAVE contoured to my body the same way the Levi's do, but the cut of the jeans is noticeably different. Some of the differences I like more than others. The jeans have a higher rise and sit closer to my waist but they are not so high that they look like uncool "dad jeans". They fit very nice in the rear but they are CRAZY snug in the hips. They may stretch out a little in a few days but they are so snug it's VERY difficult to use ANY of the pockets. Speaking of pockets, as many online reviewers state, the Wrangler Cowboy cut models have back pockets that sit much higher than the Levis. This is actually nice if you keep a wallet in your back pocket because it keeps you from sitting uncomfortably on the wallet. Another pocket feature that I DISLIKE is the rubber Wrangler patch that is intended to resemble a leather patch. It doesn't look remotely like leather and it reminds me of "uncool" Sears tough-skin jeans. As suggested by another reviewer, I removed that rubber patch easily by snipping the threads with a pointy hobby knife. The absence of the rubber patch helps make the cool brass rivets on the back pockets visually "pop" more. This is an esthetic that is missing with my 501's and I fide it an appealing feature. The denim is very high quality. It certainly equals or exceeds the quality of the non-selvedge versions of the 501 shrink-to-fits. There ARE some examples of sloppy stitching, but nothing dramatically different from the 501's. I purchased the Wranglers on Amazon for $25 but I believe the jeans can periodically be found for even less. From a value perspective, the Wranglers are the better choice than the Levis 501 STF's.So far I'm pleased with the purchase BUT may opt for one of the less snug fitting versions of the Wrangler Cowboy Cut jeans.

Read THIS review first. Real denim.
Ok, there’s a lot of reviews on here from people who just did not know what they were purchasing. These are “cowboy cut” they are designed for snug fit on thighs and seat and loose around the lower leg to accommodate western/ranch boots. If you don’t wear boots, the Texas/cowboy cut is not the one for you. The denim is tougher to the touch and rugged as all hell, they last. The double seam is on the outer thigh not the inner, why? Because if you sit in a saddle all day, you do not want a double seam rubbing on you crotch. A standard feature of Wranglers and why they are favoured by ranch hands over Levi’s. These are good quality, genuine Wranglers but please try to read and understand what you are buying before doing so. I would advise sizing up a bit, particularly in the leg. Thankfully they do “odd” sizes as well which makes sense. This is real denim, people are just used to that “denim look, jogging bottom feel” that rip when you do any work in them. If that’s what you want it’s not here I’m afraid.

Fake or just poor quality?
Strange buy, this.Firstly, I am a 32" waist in every pair of jeans I own, across many brands, but these were extremely difficult to get into.No stretch to the denim at all, and just seems to come up a tad small on the waist.Seat and thigh fit like skinny jeans, but the lower leg fit like slim/straight jeans. (Imagine it will feel more balanced with a bigger waist size).Key issue here is that I'm sure these can't be genuine wrangler jeans. Never owned a pair so tough to say, but the quality just seems really naff. Writing overlaps the stitching and isn't fully centred on both logos. Studs seem cheap and dirty. Stitching everywhere seems poorly done. Pockets look like reused materials?Buying from UK so Amazon US sources these locally to sell through Amazon Exports LLC. Can only guess Amazon have been unintentionally purchasing fakes from smaller sellers and not directly from Wrangler. Struggle to believe the highly praised Wrangler jeans are worse quality than cheap ASOS or Next jeans.

I don't think it's genuine Wrangler.
Upon examining the pair I received today, I got the impression that this pair wasn't genuine or of an inferior quality. Studs used on the pockets are just generic ones with no "Wrangler Jeans" marking on them unlike my other more "conventionally" sourced pairs. Also the stud button above the zip on the belt line is just very cheap looking with kinda dotted lines that read "Wrangler" unlike my other pairs whose studs have "Authentics Wrangler" marking. Also the zipper is just a generic one vis-à-vis YKK zipper used on my other pairs. This pair has just one piece of washing instruction and composition of fabric stuck on the inside of jeans. Also plasticky feeling "Wrangler" rectangular leather piece on the back pocket. It doesn't feel like leather at all. Bright golden/brass studs on black jeans don't look good at all. These observations are just cursory ones. Ordered two and returning one. Only retaining one pair because of its style - slim bootcut. Even the "bootcut" bit isn't as nicely styled as Levis 527. Can't recommend and won't buy again from this seller. Maybe Amazon UK/US should look at the seller's products.

A classic that’s hard to get in the uk
A classic jean I found years ago in the us, can’t get them very easily in the U.K. so happy they are on here. They are cut well and sit in the natural waist so sit around the belly button not on your hips. Wrangle cowboy cut have been my go to Jean since I was in my early 20s

How jeans used to be lovely quality denim
If you like jeans how they used to be made thick and non stretchy traditional jeans these are the jeans for you. They in time soften and shape so be careful buying them perfect fit as they will be to tight to begin with . I brought the not pre washed so they did take ages to wear in but best most toughest jeans I own good as a work jean as heavy duty denim
