Battlefield 1 Revolution Edition - PlayStation 4

Like me, if you are a fan of the Battlefield franchise ,this is a great entry in the series...and a great history lesson too!Battlefield 1 portrays World War 1, also known as 'the War to end all Wars', in riveting detail on the PS4! It sounds great too if you have a surround sound system. Weapon sounds, explosions and other sounds on the battlefield give an awesome sense of immersion as you are playing. If you've played Battlefield 4, the controls are nearly identical in this entry. Certain weapons have a sense of weight to them and each have different customizations to tailor to your play-style. The vehicles in tbe game are fun to operate, especially if you have some teamates riding shotgun with you.The singleplayer campaign is fun to play but multiplayer is where Battlefield 1 really shines! Link up with some of your friends online and go head to head with other enemy players or friends on the battlefield. The maps are huge and varied. Conquest, Rush and other new modes of gameplay are back in Battlefield 1...and more are being planned to be released at years end through the beginning of 2018.Before playing online, you will need to download the latest patch to fix some of the gameplay and animation quirks. More patches will be released as DICE releases more content in the months to come.Overall, this a great entry in the Battlefield series!

Love this game SO much. Arrived on time, great condition. Although, the game arrived with the disc loose in the case. (Took a star for that) After an extensive look around the disc, it's in mint condition. Great value you can not, CAN NOT, best this deal. Thank you Amazon.

It’s a new copy of the game and the code for DLCs are still redeemable even thought it shows an expiration date. If you’re a Battlefield 1 fan I’d recommend buying this instead of the digital version since it’s usually on sale. Overall, 10/10.

The game is as incredible as it is haunting. The controls are easy to grasp, the graphics are awesome, and it came unopened and in perfect condition. This is one of the best steals on Amazon, period.

First mission tasks you with dying over and over. Fine, trying to tell a story. But the story is just the same thing we've seen over and over for 30 years now: a bunch of wanna-be screenwriters who have never seen action or known anybody who has seen action reminding us about how awful war is. Because otherwise we might forget, right?Then you get a chance to pick your mission from a subset of 'stories'. I chose "The Runner". Gee, another "War is terrible" narrative, with me being an old guy who has to teach a young hotshot about ... how horrible war is. Yawn. Then you get into the game and it tells you, use your binoculars. So you use them to call in a couple naval strikes, then go on shore and attack. Bugs everywhere. Your guys crowd in front of you blocking your shots. Enemies pop up in the air randomly. Enemies run past you and try to attack people in front of you so you can shoot them in the back.You get to your waypoint and you're out of ammo. There's nowhere to pick up ammo. Various boxes have grenades in them or intel or some new weapon ... but even the new weapon you pick up has no ammo. So you're out of ammo. Then the game tells you hey, use stealth for this mission! Press R1 to pop up your binoculars! And you do it ... and nothing happens. Why? Well, apparently the binoculars are a droppable inventory item. So if you ditched an empty weapon at any point there's a good chance you dropped your binoculars. You can't go back and find them because the game will give you a "leaving mission area" failure.So now you're stuck with no ammo and no binoculars. All you can do is run. Wow, great gameplay!The stealth in this game is so dumb that you actually have 'attractors' that you can throw to distract the enemy. Seriously.Absolute pile of garbage, not worth the $10 I paid for it.
