Colouring Pencil - STABILO color two-tone Blue/Red Box of 12

I bought a box of these red/blue pencils on a bit of a nostalgia kick. When I first started working in an accountancy office back in the 1970s, these Post Office pencils were still in use. However they were round and made by a British manufacturer. They were good pencils and you could write clear notes on invoices and other financial records with them.This is not the case with these Stabilo pencils manufactured by a German company in the Czech Republic. They are inferior, poor quality and not suitable for annotation and note taking. The colour isn't bold, in fact it's rather weak. The quality is comparable with a kiddies colouring crayon.They were cheap to buy and this is reflected in the quality. I really should have known better. Other manufacturers are available.

As a general rule: not really. Please see the attached picture for the results of trying to erase / rub out the pencil with one very soft (Pentel) and one pretty hard (Staedtler) rubber / eraser. I didn’t press the pencil down particularly hard whilst drawing my squiggles.In short: more erasable than pen (as far as if you’re overwriting printed script / ink pen), but you may as well stick to ink / biro if you’re only planning to use the pencil for annotation, then rely on the trusty Tipp-ex. Eigentlich ganz toller und sinnvoller Stift.Für die jüngsten ist es schon ganz schön lästig bei den Silbenbögen oder Mathe König immer den Stift zu wechseln, deshalb entschieden wir uns für diese Stifte, einmal kurz mit den Fingern deutschen und schon hat man die anderer Farbe! (eigentlich ist die Marke Stabilo auch echt gut), aber leider scheinen unsere kaputt zu sein, immer und immer wieder brechen die Mienen, mittlerweile sind schon 5 Stifte der 12et Packung in den Müllgewandert.Sehr ärgerlich, da man ja schon einen stolzen Preis bezahlt! Schieben wir es mal auf die falsche versandart (großer Karton, für eine kleine Packung Stifte! Das nächste mal Lieder einen gepolsterten Briefumschlag benutzen! Dann bleiben Sie vermutlich auch heile! :€
