The art of macelifting: A new athlete is born: the macelifter

It's definitely interesting and refreshing to look at macelifting as a professional sport, rather than the fancy lunging and twirling we see folks do on Instagram nowadays. The content of the book is mostly records held by professionals including the author, which is very helpful if you aspire to meet or beat said records; or if you're just starting out and want to know if your skills are progressing as they should. On the other hand, it's not the technical guide I expected. There are plenty of color photos, which is nice, but I tend to nit-pick form when I weightlift so I'd have a appreciated well-labeled diagrams. For example, "when the mace is at x degrees your elbow should be in y position, spine held at z". Also, I understand that it is an English translation but it could have used some editing; it isn't the hardest thing to read but some sentances don't flow quite right.

Nice book on macelifting introduced as a new sport discipline.I read it very quickly, in my opinion the best and also unique guide on the argument.

This was recommended by Mr. Maceman and it is a good guide for conventional mace training

With many books out there, once I’d taken the plunge and bought my mace, I looked for a book that would encompass it all. I think I’ve found it. Very comprehensive and easy to understand. The book will not only provide guidance and training but will keep me focused on the way forward for some time to come. Yes, I thoroughly recommend this book. Not a bad price either for a good quality book.

Interesting book but was after a Steel Mace how to guide, this is more of a biography.

Half of this book is this guy talking about his personal bests. What a waste of time. You get more help one mace swinging from Instagram videos
