Nice cheap way to keep the car clean
Never had one of these before, but I figured that it was a cheap way to help keep the hair off the upholstery.Construction: solidly built from first testing, seems unlikely to tear (but we'll see with an active 70lb dog), the fabric is more like canvas than cotton, so if your dog is one of those teacup dainty little things then it might be too ruff, I appreciate the grippy pad on the underside to hold onto the seat (like contact paper)Fit: worked great in my Hyundai crossoverDownsides: there were two straps in the middle with little PVC pipes that I wasn't sure about. I left them dangling and it seems to work great. I quick set of instructions would have been helpful, the seatbelt/leash is nice for low speed trips but could direct the force of a car accident into a dog's neck if they had a normal collar on (I'd only use it with a body collar)

Get this one
This is a nice cover, and the third one we bought in about a year. We have a "Luv Pets Co" X-large one for my 2017 Silverado crew cab that we love, but its no longer available. We recently purchased a 2018 GMC Acadia All Terrain and were looking for a cover for the bench backseat (2nd row).We first purchased the UpPower 100% Waterproof backseat set cover but didn't like ti when it arrived and are sending it back. the material on it is softer and there is loft in the cover like you'd find in a quilt. I don't think it will hold up well over time. So we purchased this one. Got it yesterday and it's pretty nice. The fabric is coarser and there isn't any loft in the fill so I think it's hold up to the dogs' nails much better over time. The seat back in the vehicle is pretty tall - about 23" and this covers it all the way to the top.

Best bang for your buck!
I have a 90 pound lab, a chiweenie and often my friends dogs riding with us too. We've tried other seat covers and were let down. We spent more money on those than what this cost so I was apprehensive at first. But we needed something fast for our coast trip. It came in two days and took my husband five minutes to install it. We've had it for a few weeks now and it still looks new. Our dogs covered it in sand and it was just easy to unclip it and shake it out. We like that you can unclamp one side and leave the other up for when our friends child is in the backseat. It hasn't torn and it is the only one our dogs have not been able to break the clips to as well. It is keeping my seats looking new! Definitely worth every cent and when it does wear out we will be purchasing another.

Easy set up and works as described
18 May 2020This was a gift for my mom since she has to have her dog with her at all times and her car was covered in hair. This thing is super easy to set up. Just loop the straps over each headrest and adjust it so it lies flat. The blanket has holes in the bottom so you can use the doggie seatbelt without removing it. It washes well and my mother tells me how amazing it is everytime she sees me. It's been nearly a year and it still looks as good as new when I see it.Excellent way to keep per fur off your car seats.

Great quality product!
After I bought my first car about 2 weeks ago I needed a way to keep it clean of my dogs hair. In comes Honest Outfitters, the top brand when looking up pet seat covers. I didnt really know what I was looking at and just decided to go for them. Best decision ever! The cover fits perfectly in my Hyundai Elantra, very wide service area and even helps keep my dogs in the back seat by having a little barrier. One small problem would be that it doesn't have enough grip and kind of folds up and leaves part of my seat exposed, but that could be because I didn't tighten it just yet, I will update review once I do. But other than that, great quality and definitely keeps dog hair off of my seats.

Saved my dog in a wreck!
Unfortunately I was involved and in a highway accident with my 80lb greyhound in the car. He was sleeping in the hammock which cradles him very well when I hit a stopped car going about 50mph. Anyone who’s been in a decent crash knows how anything not secured goes flying, including our beloved pets. Well I’m convinced this hammock saved him from serious injury or death. Aside from this accident he also loves riding in it. The pieces that wedge between the seats to hold it in place tore and there’s a big tear at one seam from the crash so I know there was a good amount of force put upon it. Very thankful this was constructed well and that he was lying down. I’ll be purchasing another one to replace this one. Now to research good dog seat belt harnesses.

Game Changer for Shedders!!!
This product is a game changer. My dog sheds like he is trying to escape his coat .... & he's short haired. Short yellow hairs COVERING my entire black fabric back seat 😬 anytime I take him anywhere! This product has made it possible to transport my little shedding goblin SO much more easily & SO much less work after! They even included flaps on the side of this cover to protect the outer side of the seats! It couldn't be simpler or quicker to install, and it cleans off very easily. I am SO happy that I found this product and would HIGHLY recommend!

easy install and easy removal)
Bought this for my girlfriend, drives a Honda CRV and it fits perfectly in there. There are holes where you can pull a seatbelt buckle through if driving people in the back (just unhook what's on the front seat and fold it back, easy install and easy removal). The product itself is heavier than the ones at Walmart or Target, but is of superior quality in comparison. Stitching is nice and tight, and the fabric has a easy clean up coating in case there's a build up of hair or an accident had occurred. Girlfriend owns a sheltie and she's happy with it, recommend it to a co-worker that owns a husky and she's happy with it as well.

Cover works well, and looks nice!
This is my 2nd seat cover. The first one was purchased by a different company and it just did not fit properly across my 2016 Chev Silverado. This one was longer and only 44.00 a nice price compared to the 144.00 I paid for the initial cover . The quality of this cover is great and it looks really nice on. The side flaps are longer as well and they actually cover down the side of the seat properly. Was a little disappointed this cover does not quite fit properly either as shown in the picture. But it will do what I need it to do and the price point is really good. This is a good product and please note only 4 star due to again after reading reviews and comments it would fit my truck it does not .

A must have for pet owners! Keeps your car clean and makes your life a lot easier.
Our dog drools and gets car sick. First time, I used it, she threw up twice. I was so happy to have purchased this car seat cover. The straps and buckles are sturdy. The cover stays in place even if your dog moves around. They include a small lead which one end clips into the seat belt and the other end has a hook that clips onto your dog’s harness. The dogs can move safely. There are openings with Velcro that allow you to easily find the seatbelt and close it up again. This is easy to install, easy to remove and throw it in the wash. A recommendation: Fasten the buckles when washing & drying to avoid breakage and because it has plastic handles I selected air dry on my dryer to prevent damage the plastic. The cover dried throughly and quickly. I threw in the laundry balls that are used to wash winter coats and heavy blankets in both the washing machine & dryer. It came out clean, no loose threads or frays and still looks new. Good quality, nice diamond stitching. It fits great for back seat on my Jetta. It covers the sides of the seats which is very nice for dogs that have difficulty getting in the car. What I love even more is that there is no fur woven in the seats which is very difficult to vacuum. Should have bought it earlier. Fast service!

It's okay for the money. How good or bad this is for your situation depends on how relaxed your dogs are during a car ride.
The Good Parts* The build quality is fine - no complaints* It prevents a dog from falling into the lower part of the passenger compartment* Easy to install - takes about a minute* Will protect leather surfaces from getting scratched up* If you have a dog who basically lies down for the entire ride, this is a great buy. If you have active dogs who want to come to the front all the time, maybe not.Could Be Better* The front and back panels are not rigid* The front panel top seam should at the very least have a semi rigid bar going across it, as it can sag, allowing a motivated dog to climb over* The front panel doesn't go high enough in my opinion. We actually mount them to the opening **in** the headrest of my wife's RAV4. Not all headrests are O shaped so you won't be able to do that in all cars. We have smallish dogs, and I tend to think they can still climb over to the front if they were motivated enough. It would be super easy for a medium size dog who wants to get to the front to do so, which in my opinion is not a good thing.* The side flaps are somewhat useless if you have smaller dogs. I think they should be longer and have hooks that can connect to the coat hooks on most cars. Because of this, one of my dogs was able to squeeze through the gap by the rear passenger doors to get into the lower part of the rear passenger compartment. Some other brands of car seat covers do appear to allow you to do this.* Would be nice if there were holes in the back panel to allow for the use of seat belt mounted harnesses. This could really help limit the range of motions active dogs have in the back seat.* Would be nice if it came with a zipper carrying case.

Good Cover
Let me first say that I have been using similar covers for several years with several dogs. Recently, after the unfortunate death of my 10 year old Border Collie, I obtained a German Shephard pup. ( Big mistake lol). He quickly destroyed the backseat cover I had used with the old dog. I purchased a new cover at a local retailer, which I assumed was the same as the old cover... big mistake... the Shepherd pup destroyed it within a week. So I purchased this seat cover which, although not quite the same as my "wayback cover", has stood up to his destructive talents. It's hard to describe. But a simpler cover is better when you are dealing with a pup. If you give them seams and zippers they will destroy...

Fits a Jetta 4 dr almost perfectly, matches my black leather interior.
I'm going to start this review off at 4 stars. The build quality seems decent, size is perfect for my 2006 4dr Jetta TDI (though I did fold the side flaps under the seat cover.....they aren't overly long but too long for the height of my back seat). I did buy 2 of these seat covers, the other one is for my truck and I will install that one tomorrow. I suspect the truck will be a bit wider than the car and thus the side flaps will be handy to close off the space to the door. The rear of the cover has a Velcro closure to feed the included short leash into a seatbelt receptacle. The leash is adjustable in length. One nice design feature is the cover has 2 hard plastic tubes on the underside to slide between the seat and the seat back. They take a bit of pushing to install but once in seem to do a good job of anchoring the read bottom part of the cover. The straps to fit the headrests are adjustable which is also handy to get a decent fit. My truck doesn't have rear headrests so a bungee cord or two to the baby seat anchors may be required for that installation. This cover is supposed to be waterproof (and mudproof too I hope), as well as non-slip. Time will tell on both of those concerns. I hope to be able to use a small wish broom to brush the worst of the dried mud and dog hair out. In any case, this cover should go a long way to protecting my leather seats from scratches and other wear and tear. I'll update the review and rating after it's had some daily use.I do like the footing that this cover provides between the seat bottom and the front seats so the dog will not slide into a confined space during a hard stop.PS: - my dog is the inquisitive type and she would have appreciated a half-height "U" shaped opening in the front of the cover to make it easier to place her front paws on the center console while inspecting any bags that I get into the car with....just in case they harbor a dog treat or two.
