Bought this for my hubby who had a herniated disc. The brace is able to fit many sizes, and has an extra piece to make it even bigger. The plastic middle piece gives good support. My husband gives it 2 thumbs up and said it has helped alot.

Well constructed and comfortable to wear.

the Velcro fasteners don't work as they fasten to the belt material and not a proper Velcro pad. The Velcro also slips when you bend down or breath in deeply, you have to keep refastening the belt all the time when your active and moving around.

Helped with the pain but not comfortable when sitting.

I have had horrendous backpack ever since I had an injury a year and a half ago, this back support is incredible. The pain is minimised so much it is such a relief. I can sit down comfortably, I can walk comfortably and the pain Is almost non existant. I am in shock that this works so well for me. It is absolutely wonderful. I can't praise this product enough. I honestly wasn't expecting much (if any) difference when I got this but the support it provides and the relief from pain it has given me in incredible. One of the best things I've ever purchased.

First strap was pulled to fit and straight away snappen off in my hand no quality at all

I found this back support quite supportive and comforable to wear; for short periods of time at a time; like 20 minutes because, if I where it for longer it can start to become a bit uncomfortable; which is something that I tend to find with most body supports. I have to wear various body supports from time to time due to help with my health condition EDS and muscle weakness. So, I wanted to give this back support a try; because I've discovered that back support belts can vary in supporting me doing different things; as different designs support differently; for example, one can be great at supporting me while walking and another can support me better when I'm in bed. I wanted to see if this one will support me better with sitting at my desk in comparison to others that I have; because I didn't have one exactly like this one.I found that it is easy for me to put on and adjust, and it gave me enough support to hold me together to sit upright; preventing me from arching my lumber too much when I'm sitting at my desk studying, but only for a very short period of time at a time; for about 20 minutes. I understand that supports such as these work best when only worn for short periods of time; as they can also hinder muscle strength developement if they are depended on too much as they can prevent the muscles from doing the work themselves to hold me up in good posture properly. I also understand that they are designed to only aid support to ease pains and not to get rid of pains entirely; this back support isn't a pain relief pill. So, I didn't have any expectations that it will get rid of all my back pains; it did meet my expectations to provide me with the relief that I needed while sat at my desk to ease the pains that I generally can incur from my bad posture when I'm not supported by a back support belt.I found that it also helped to keep me warm, and due to it's breathable mesh material it doesn't make me feel really hot.However, the material isn't the best quality; the stitching could be better; as it isn't very straight and arrived with a few loose threads. After the first wear for 20 minutes of sitting at my desk; I noticed that some creases started to appear in the big strap. Although, I've not had it for long so, I can't comment too much on it's durability; I do suspect that it will soon be showing lots of signs of wear and tear.I do like the design of it with the 22 massage point nodules and the 6 support plates; 3 on each side supporting my back well. I also like that it came with an extention peace to attach to the belt for those who need it; it's a nice practical addition. I had no issues with it fitting around my 33" UK size 16 waist.For now and for as long as it lasts in it's current condition it's definately going to help support me when I need it in addition to me; also, doing physio and exercises to rebuild my strength so that my own muscles can better support me with my posture; eradicating the bad posture pains; one day. For it's current discounted price of £23.39, it's okay.
