This works great and updates quickly in real-time. It’s a good value for the price, my only thought is that I have to adjust the suction cup on it / reposition it somewhat from time to time. I perceive that if the suction were 20% greater this wouldn’t be an issue, but this definitely met my needs.

Wished they had included a glue that THEY KNEW would work with the plastic of the suction cup if desired for superior grip. The cord is of FANTASTICALLY AMPLE Length! The unit itself could have used a button to light the dial, so no need for overhead illumination. THE BEEPER IS LOUD & REPETITIVE so you will be forced to go fix it now, instead of waving it off 'for a minute', a dangerous scenario.Uh...it is a bargain. Peace of mind can be expensive so a break now and then is much appreciated.

This Digital Refrigerator & Freezer Thermometer with Audible Alarm is literally worthless to me. The magnets are so weak the display unit will not hold on to the side of the refrigerator. It has no fold out legs to permit me to sit it on top of the refrigerator and read the display. My only option is to lay it flat on the top of the refrigerator and then pick up the display unit whenever I desire to read the temperature. A pain in the neck, really. The accuracy of the thermometer unit seems to be okay.

I purchased this thermometer to monitor the temperature of a 20-year old freezer. It provides the temperature outside and inside, and an alarm can be programmed to monitor the inside temperature. Programming the alarm is confusing, because the "OUT" temperature is the only one that can be monitored with an alarm. So after finally figuring out that the OUT readings were for the inside of the freezer and the IN readings were for the outside of the freezer, I got it programmed. Not intuitive at all. I've had it for only a week, and so far the thermometer is working well. Aside from the programming challenge, I was disappointed by two things. First, the magnets on the back are not strong enough to support the thermometer. It must be supported by another stronger magnet, or it slides right down the freezer. Second, the alarm volume is very weak--it can't be heard unless one is very nearby and it must be otherwise quiet. Since this was the main reason for my purchase, I am disappointed. I reached out to the seller by email about this issue, but received no response.

Easy to read display.Easy to setup. The suction cup on the sensor is too small to stick to a freezer side and the magnets are too light duty to stick to the side of the freezer: the unit kept sliding to the bottom, so we left it on top of a chest freezer

I bought two different thermometers. First of all, the magnets on this one have very little strength. The unit keeps sliding down my door. I had to resort to double-stick tape to secure it. Then it will keep going "off". In order to restart it, the battery needs to be reinserted. I tied several types of battery (after testung them). The carbon battery worked the best. Accuracy seems to be there - when it works.I would NOT recommend this brand to anyone.

Exactly as advertised. Magnet is week so it will need help holding to the freezer. Cable is plenty long enough and wire is thin enough to not interfere with the door seals. Alarm is loud enough to hear in the same room but not much further.

we got this thermometer for an upright freezer when we moved it to a covered patio. my husband ran the readout in to the window of my laundry room, beside where the freezer sits outside. I can easily monitor the temp in the freezer without going outside. It has worked BEAUTIFULLY!
