I bought this to fumigate my greenhouse after a persistent whitefly situation. The item does not come with any instructions but the video and information on the Amazon item description is ample. The small tub on opening looked different from the video (no pink wick just a piece of blue paper} however it seemed obvious this is what to light. Within seconds the greenhouse was filled with grey smoke. The smoke also came belching out of every seam in my greenhouse and is extremely strong smelling. The strong smell also came into my house as I entered it. The smoke dies down after a few minutes but the smell remains lingering for a while. I could still smell it on my clothes that evening despite me being only in the greenhouse to light the bomb. I left greenhouse closed overnight and this morning there is only a slight smell and the glass is perfectly clear so no issues with smoke staining. There was several dead insects and snails so hopefully it has cleared the whitefly problem. It works exactly as described but I hope to not have to need to use one again and will probably look at more natural preventatives now.

I spotted one live bedbug on my laundry at the end of a tumble dry and panicked! This was a couple of days after hiring a car which I'm guessing had just done an airport trip as I have had no visitors for several weeks but hadn't been bitten. Researched on line and figured this would be the quickest and least messy solution after I had thoroughly vacuumed every piece of furniture etc in the house. I didn't want to spray all the soft furnishings. I lit one smoke bomb upstairs and one downstairs and I'll never know whether there were more bedbugs but I did find a lot of dead moths and spiders so this was powerful stuff. I have never seen another bedbug again and that was the first, so probably used a hammer to crack a nut but I would definitely use the smoke bombs again if I did see one. The smoke wasn't pleasant but I was able to use the rooms I'd treated that night and by next day after a thorough airing the smell was gone and my pets were fine. They had been shut into a small room with open windows for the duration.

We had a cluster fly problem, in the loft and upstairs in the garage block. Bought these and it solved the problem. Use two at a time and sit them in an old baking tray. After doing this in the spring for two years no more flies.

Think I needed two and left a few things with black smoke on them

Haven't used it as yet but I would think will do the job as used similar over the years.

I lit the fuse and it went out. I had to take the container apart and pour the powder out and set lite to it with a candle wick. It worked to a lesser degree but I'm not impressed. And I ended up getting too much of the fumes in me although I appear to be ok. However unimpressed.

First off, the fumer kept dying after just a few minutes of use. This was incredibly frustrating, as I had to constantly reignite it to maintain any smoke output. Even when it was working, the amount of smoke generated was surprisingly insignificant. I expected a robust, dense cloud that would effectively fumigate a room, but what I got was a faint wisp that barely filled the space. I had read positive reviews prior to my purchase, so perhaps I received a defective product, but based on my experience, I can't recommend this smoke bomb for anyone looking for reliable fumigation. You might want to consider other options if you're serious about getting the job done right.
