Works great for safety!
I’m really glad I got this, so I can see who is at my door just through the peep hole. It is made of good quality and it was easy to install. I was a little concerned if it would be blurry when you looked through it but it is very clear I recommend this product.

It’s good, overall
This has been great. I’ve had it installed for several months now. It installed just like any other door viewer (no easier or harder). It’s definitely better to drill pilot hole with smaller drill bit, then drill halfway through from each side (front and back) with the larger bit rather than drilling all the way through with the large one and splintering the door in one side. The only tricky installation part (to me) is making sure the drill bit goes in perfectly straight, not angled up, down, or sideways. That said, if you angle it down a bit, you can see slightly more of the ground in front of the door.Which brings me to my personal reason for buying this. I want to see people at the door, of course, but I really wanted to be able to see packages left at the door without opening the door. Technically, I can see the outer edge of the welcome mat, but I still find myself having to open the door to see if small packages are there—it’s hard to see them through the door viewer.I didn’t think the flap on the viewer was necessary, but now that I have it, I appreciate it. I don’t like the logo engraved in the flap—it’s pretty tacky and noticeable. I improved the situation by tracing over the letters with a black sharpie (my viewer is oil rubbed bronze). They’re still visible, but at least they’re not copper-colored anymore, so they’re less noticeable.

Clear wide angle view
Purchased for my mother so she could see who was at her door. The image is clear and has a nice wide viewing angle. Installation was easy. Happy with purchase.

Great Door Peephole Viewer A++++++
Yes, It's Nice. Has a Fisheye Type View. Perfect for My Needs. Yes, Would Buy Again.I Would Say the Shaft, That Goes Through the Door Was Slightly Thicker Than Hole. Maybe it Was Just My Door. A Quick Sanding with a File Fixed the Issue. Time to Modify....Four Minutes.

A noticeable upgrade!
Peepholes are just...blah. Right? Well, these will certainly get your attention. They are very sturdily built, have an oversized fisheye lens, and a tight lens cover (so nobody can see in when you are not looking out at them) have given me the confidence to believe I have purchased a high-quality item. Catch them on sale, and you're crazy not to scoop them up if you're upgrading.

It'll get the job done
So far, it's been getting the job done, so I couldn't say it's a bad product at all.Originally, I wanted to use the Rockwood model 627 because I know that one works great. But, in this place I moved into, the door hardware has a black finish and I wanted the color of the door viewer to match. Rockwood does make a version of the model 627 that has a black finish, but I've only been able to find it available wholesale to other businesses. I'm not sure where the average consumer would be able to buy that version.In the meantime, I decided to take a chance on this one from Togu because the color matched. It gets the job done, but there's a noticeable difference in both the build quality and the "picture quality" so to speak. I should have gone with the chrome Rockwood 627 and just dealt with the color mismatch.On a side note, it's common these days to have doors where the "outer shell" is basically made out of a heavy duty cardboard, and the "inner core" is a styrofoam insulation. If you drill a hole in that type of door with a spade drill, it will wander off course a bit. Once that happens, you'll have to do a bit of carving on one side of the hole in order to get the door viewer to mount squarely in the door. You'll save yourself some time and hassle if you just use a twist drill.
