Nice model
Nice model. Bought it for my grandson

Loved it.
My grandson love it. Dad had to help, but he was only 4 when I gave it to him. He is crazy about Corvettes. It would be more appropriate for an 8 year old.

Nice model car, easy to assemble
Really good quality, has some weight to it. Good for younger kids because its not many parts that need to be assembled. Definitely worth the price. Would buy again.

Good heft, nice detail.
It took me over an hour to put together, possibly due to be being decades out of practice in assembling models. The kit came with a small Phillips head screwdriver, but I used a larger one to help drive the two screws, as well as tweezers to handle decal installation and a small, flat bladed screwdriver to help press pieces into place. Some of the pieces snapped into place without issue while others, like the tail lights, seemed to take an unusual amount of effort. I suspect parts vary from batch to batch. Anyhow, this was my experience. I was pleased to find that all parts were already separated from the molding process “trees” and were free of mold flashing. Overall, I am quite pleased with a nicely detailed, good looking model. Assembly tips: I recommend installing the inside rear view mirror (shown in Figure 2 as Step 12) before installing the windshield (shown in Figure 1 as Step 7). This mirror is installed into the upper part of the windshield assembly. Use tweezers or forceps to install the mirror’s tiny post into the hard to see, tiny hole in the black plastic top of the windshield. I struggled a bit to get the upper part of the windshield into place as it didn’t want to lock into place. Now that I’m looking at it again a few days later, the top is still not properly locked in. In Figure 3, the two larger parts, the upper and lower trays, will snap together when properly aligned, making it possible to invert them as shown in Figure 4. In Figure 5, sooner or later you will become aware that there are two different sizes of wheels and tires - the smaller ones are for the front. In Figure 6, Steps 33 and 34 are installing the red tail lights. I really struggled to get these two pieces into place. I think they are identical parts, and swapping them around didn’t seem to make any difference. It seemed like the peg spacing wasn’t quite right. By first holding the short leg of each tail light into position I was finally able to wrap the longer section into place and force the pegs into place by using a small flat bladed screwdriver. The front “hood” and rear “trunk” or hatch, are preassembled with what appears to be working hinges. I was not able to open either one prior to assembling the car, and certainly not after assembly. Both resisted my efforts to open them with reasonable force from underneath, so I stopped trying, not wanting to break anything. Not sure I really care as, in my case, I would probably have both in the closed position all of the time anyhow. The doors do open a bit.
