This is much easier on the thumbs when you have knots on the body to ease. My massage therapist recommended it for me to work out the knots in my painful arthritic thumbs and it works. One thing, I ordered the small but it is still too big for my thumb. I have to put 2 fingers in it!

The original Thumbsaver is still a great product, but this Advance version with sensitive tip takes it to a new level. I suffered a partial thumb amputation and this fits perfectly and protects my thumb while providing support and further improving the ability to function as if I still had my complete thumb. Thank you!!

At first i tried it on and it was way too big but after trying it again and playing around it, I actually like a lot of other things about this thumb saver. The material is better than the previous model. It has a grippyish/more flexible feel where I feel like I can hook onto the tissue. I have better touch and can probably build my sensitivity while using it.

I am a massage therapist and I use this in my practice to help preserve my thumb joint for some deep tissue work. Highly recommended

This is a very hard plastic and does not fit a larger size thumb. It has no stretch. It appeared like it was used, so we returned.

I liked it a lot, it really saves on my thumbs

For a woman, I have medium length, kinda wide hands & fingers (common for a massage therapist) - I wear a woman's med-large glove. Size small was too narrow for both 1st & 2nd thumb joints, both hands (tight fit, and I have to push it down onto my thumb, so it expands at my joints, even for my thumb to reach the bottom); AND too long (even after pushing it on, the proximal part is so tightly jammed into my first joint, and there's still a couple mm before my thumb touches the end). And if I'm not jamming it down onto my thumb, its's about 1/3 inch space at the end. I'd be curious if the material softens up with time/use and molds to the joints better? On a sidenote, I actually hoped I could also use it for my middle finger as that's where I get the most joint compression & inflammation, but definitely too wide, at base and opening, for that. I did like the feel of the material for mobilization (never tried the original versions). Just holding it in one hand and using it to mobilize my forearms was effective and felt good, so I'll keep it for working on myself, but not for work.

Use this everyday!! Saves my thumbs and gives perfect pressure. These are so much better than the old style. They fit and have much greater sensitivity for massage.

I'm sure it will be good. But I would have thought the word thumbsavers meant you'd get 2 in a pack, since I have 2 thumbs and for that price I'd say it's very expensive for one. Disappointed I only got one. Tbh.

I like the protection it gives your thumb. Have damaged mine but can still massage using thumb saver
