I like how well this toothpaste cleans, the taste is decent, and the ingredients are good. But my only downside is the metal tube - it's fragile(( I've bought this paste several times, and every time, before reaching the end, the tube cracks somewhere and the paste starts leaking through the holes. You have to handle it very carefully, which is a problem when a child is using it and squeezes it however they want.

I have always had a hard time brushing my teeth because of the taste of the toothpaste, the lingering aftertaste and how terribly it ruins anything you might want to eat afterwards. I have Adhd as well and that makes it even harder to be able to bring myself to actually brush my teeth because it's always been such an unpleasant experience. After doing some research, I figured out that it was Fluoride and SLS that makes toothpaste so absolutely awful to have anywhere near my mouth and I needed something without those ingredients. I tried Wendell's toothpaste as the first alternative replacement. It wasn't bad but it had a subtle Licorice flavor to it, which for me, still made it somewhat unpleasant and after finishing that toothpaste, I thought I would look for other flavors. David's came up with the Strawberry Watermelon and I instantly thought of the jolly ranchers, so I got it. Let me tell you. It's not quite Jolly Rancher, but it does taste like it says it does. No spearmint-y undertones. Nothing lingers in the mouth. It tastes pleasant, but I'm still not tempted to swallow it. It doesn't have any weird Mouth-Feel, it's actually quite smooth. I do feel fresh after using it. It's everything I could have asked for in quality and strength. I don't know yet what it will do for whitening my teeth, so we'll see about that. But I know that brushing my teeth from not on isn't going to be such a dreaded chore anymore. It'll be much easier to work into a daily routine.

Great product. The only problem is when first opening it, the stored up pressure in the tube causes a bit of it to burst out. Otherwise, it has a nice bubblegum-like taste.

Awesome taste, not too sweet, cleans very well without the awful mint taste! It does not burn my gums and don't make my tongue numbness. Very fine texture, effective, and fresh clean feeling! I do recommend!❤️☺️

The flavor is great! My 2.5 year old son actually loves to brush his teeth now. So happy to have found a great fluoride free option.

I like the toothpaste itself. I like that it has none of the ingredients known to be toxic and it is verified by the EWG. The flavor is pretty good, but it doesn't last long in your mouth like mint does. I find myself wanting to brush more often. It is great that it can be used for kids and adults in the home. It does a decent job cleaning the teeth. The tubing material is terrible though. It cracks very easily and leaks out. The top where the cap goes can get stripped easily, too. I would have thought it was a bad tube, but I have bought other flavors and the same thing happened. I think the tubing is supposed to be environmentally friendly, but it just doesn't stand up to other toothpaste tubes. I am so disappointed in this because we can't have mint in our home due to an allergy, so I was excited thinking this might work. For now, I am using the tube I have with duck tape wrapped around it trying to to keep any.kre toothpaste from leaking out.

This small business knows what matters most! I tried all 3 flavors of David’s toothpaste and the strawberry watermelon was the only one acceptable by my nearly 3yr old. I bought for both myself and her to try and see if they are as effective or more than traditional fluoride pastes and to my surprise I prefer the nano hydroxyapatite mixture. David’s is MORE effective for cleanliness than traditional options and makes teeth smooth and fresh feeing. I love that it has natural ingredients and does not cause any sensitivity for either of us. It foams a little more than regular but less than high peroxide options. These statements are true IMO for all 3 flavors I tried. The orange flavor was refused by my little one (who loves oranges) and had some spiciness to it. I know she doesn’t like minty anything so didn’t attempt that one for her, although that’s my favorite.

I absolutely LOVE this toothpaste. I have a very hard time using mint toothpaste to the point where I was avoiding brushing my teeth, as embarrassing at it is. I have sensory issues and mint toothpaste almost always tastes “gritty” to me. This toothpaste is a game changer and I have been brushing my teeth 2-3 times a day since I got it! The flavor is wonderful and doesn’t taste artificial. It doesn’t foam up which is actually something I love (once again, sensory issues). This toothpaste actually makes a me WANT to brush my teeth!!!

The toothpaste itself is fine put the tube it’s in is awful. It’s one of those metal type tubes that when you just barely touch the tube all the contents ooze out uncontrollably. And if it gets bent too much it breaks open.

The kids love this toothpaste. I’m hoping to see positive results on cavities. Only reason for less stars is the price.

Wanted to love this but I can’t get past that it tastes just like that fluoride paste they put on your teeth at the dentist office.

False advertising. Careful! If you are looking for toothpaste with nanohydroxyapatite. They say in thier description it has this in thier toothpaste. But when you look at the ingredients list :Calcium carbonate (limestone abrasive), vegetable glycerin, purified water, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), xylitol (birch derived), hydrated silica, sodium cocoyl glutamate, carrageenan (seaweed derived), cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, natural flavor, stevia (leaf extract). They actually do not list nanohydroxyapatite. So dont waste your money here!
