Well worth the cost to save your back
Like other reviewers have said the Heft handle tends to move or detaches with use , that said instead of drilling through it I found that 3 strong cable ties solve that problem . When it’s secured it works really well , your back will appreciate it and it enables you to lift a substantial load ( in my case snow ) without straining your back . I did not think it would make such a difference but after using a similar product when shovelling a neighbours walk ( used theirs when they were away) I was sold on the beauty of the two handle shovel. As long as you are willing to secure it I think it’s a great addition to any shovel.

Seem to be OK but just didn’t fit the handle I wanted it for.
Seems that it might serve its purpose, but it does not fit the handle I wanted it for.

Works great up until it doesn’t
Great idea, failure on execution. The product worked great for about 30 mins. Those 30 mins saved a lot of lifting and torquing on the back. However, after that, the glue that secures the rubber pieces to the lift start coming apart. The rubber pieces eventually fall off completely and when they do the product doesn’t stay in place and is useless. Now I’m left with a shovel that has glue all over the shaft of the shovel. So not only is the product defective, now my shovel needs to be replaced. Way to go with the cheap materials.

Well built
Does what it’s supposed to. Saved my back this past winter. A MUST HAVE for tall persons.

Doesn't clip tight on a fiberglass handle
Not as useful as I thought it should be. The handle doesn't clip all the way around my Workforce fiberglass handled shovel. While it does help with leverage, it slows me down as I have to make sure not to twist it off the handle. I'll have to try one with a more permanent mount or maybe see if a couple of screw hose clamps will hold it on better.

Definitely minimizes stooping over & allows greater control
I just used in on @ 6" of snow instead of paying the plow guy $40. The grip part was loose around the shovel pole but that is much preferred to it being too small (in which case would not work for that shovel). To keep it from moving around the shovel pole in a circular motion or up & down the shovel pole, I marked with nail polish where I liked it positioned & used electrical tape around the shovel pole to make a tighter grip. Definitely minimizes stooping over & allows greater control so you don't dump snow while you are still over the sidewalk. It may not hold up for a strong guy who muscle throws heavy shovel fulls of snow, but if you have that much, you would probably use the snow blower anyway. I think I will prefer this stiff/solid secondary handle to the flexible steel strip type second handle of the Snow Joe Shovelution. I got one of those too but haven't used it yet.

Fair secondary handle for snow shovel, where is attaches need better constructed materials
After having a week worked pretty fair with heavy snow. Only issue is that rubber and adhesive used to attach it fell off where it attaches between snow shovel and unit handle. Need better materials where it connects to handle of source shovel (or what other garden tools is used). Also because of weight of the snow the unit is on a tilt where it connects to the snow shovel. Just gives me a bad feeling this unit is going to fall off of snow shovel or plastic is going to crack also.

Great ...for one season if that...
Love the design and facilitation it offers. I live in the Sierras so one lasts almost a winter, depending. I wish these sorts of things were made more appropriately sturdy... snow and ice management is not a lightweight task.
