I recently hosted a birthday party for my 10 year old son. I purchased over 20 different gel blasters from various different brands. As such, I feel particularly well positioned to write actually helpful reviews. I bought 3 of these. Overall, I was VERY impressed: - They're collapsible, so easy to store when not in use - Hold a decent amount of gellets - Once you figure out the spout, it's super good. There's notches that lock it in place at varying angles. There's one notch where it's barely open to let out water but no gellets; this worked surprisingly well. There's another that lets the lever be easily lifted to fill a gun & easily closed when finished (kids were figuring it out). There's a few issues sometimes, like the gasket getting stuck & blocking it (happened twice) or accidentally leaving it open & dumping a bunch out, but these issues far outweigh the handiness of them. It was a hectic party so mistakes happen, so overall, I'd highly recommend these.

This is a great container for your gel blaster ammo, the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the condition the packaging arrived in. Amazon did not do a good job shipping it to my house. The box looks like it was dropped several times and kicked around. See photos to see what I'm talking about.

There are some reviews about this that are misleading. Its not perfect but its not going on a NASA mission its for kids fun at the park. It is sturdy. It holds 10,000 comfortably and about 14k TIGHT! It has a feature to lock the water in. Its a tight clip to do this. It leaks a tiny bit of water if left overnight without being drained. The next notch is to drain the water but easily moves to the DISPENSE setting with a small amount of force. It can easily be operated by anyone with just a little paying attention. I think its awesome. It filled the standard gel blaster brand bottles effortlessly. The lid fits tight and the handle makes moving it around easy. I'm getting another for when we convince the rest of the block to buy more stuff lol. I am NOT impressed with the Gelblaster brand guns but that's a different story.

This is a Good Gel Bucket for gel blaster gels. For Those Struggling how to use it allow me to explain how its done. 1: You Get the Bucket out the packaging. 2: Make Sure you uncollapse/expand the bucket (the bucket comes collapsed down for storage so expand it all the way and make sure you expand it all the way to the full size shown in the imagine and i would suggest taking off the top while expanding it to help let the air in it out). 3: MAKE SURE THE DRAINER/DISPENSER LEVER IS CLOSED ALL THE WAY SINCE THE LEVER COMES EITHER OPEN OR MAYBE CLOSED AND MAKE SURE IT IS CLOSED ALL THE WAY AND IF IT IS NOT CLOSED ALL THE WAY THEN PUSH IT DOWN TILL ITS CLOSED ALL THE WAY SINCE IT IS HARD TO CLOSE THE LEVER ALL THE WAY AND WILL REQUIRE A BIT OF STRENGTH BUT DONT PULL TO HARD SO YOU WONT BREAK IT SINCE YOU KINDA HAVE TO SNAP IT IN THERE KINDA. 4: Now that its expanded and is closed, take off the lid or make sure lids off, Pour in the Gel packet such as one packet of 10,000 gellets gels (the bucket only holds 10,000 fully grown gels and will overflow when holding way more then that). 5: Put the water in the bucket all the way to near the top of bucket. 6: Put the lid back on it and let it sit for 2 or 4 hours so the gels can grow all the way (i suggest letting them grow for 4 hours for best results though i have seen some people say there gels have grown good in only 2 or 3 hours but i suggest growing them for the full 4 hours for best results). 7: Once there done growing, Drain the Bucket by using the Draining part of the lever by pulling the lever up to its first section 8: once the water has drained all the way pull up the lever even more and even farther to have it dispense the gels and make sure you have your gel blasters hopper or magazine ready and put it underneath the dispenser as it dispenses out the gels 9: Now just put your magazine or Hopper in your Gel Blaster and your Ready to Shoot It! 10: for storing the gels just put water in the bucket and make sure the lever is sealed/closed all the way and then find somewhere safe to put it at (although i have heard some say the gels can get mold on them which apprantly is common for glow in the dark/tracer gels and apprantly you have to wash the gels with dish soap in new water then when ready to use rinse out the dish soap water by draining it and putting more water in there till the soap is gone then go and use it then repeat the same process with the dish soap and water when storing the gels again. Hope this review is helpful for people wondering how to use the gel bucket other then then that the gel bucket is great for storing and dispensing gels

This is such a great product if anyone in your household is into gellet guns. You do have to push hard on the spout to open and close it but that means it really doesn't leak! It's a great size and it makes it was easier to fill gellet guns. No more funnel or gellets bouncing around the kitchen!

We purchased a set of gel blasters and the buckets for Christmas gifts. The buckets are great for hydrating the gellets, but the spout design is a bit tough for kids (and first time using adults) to operate. The spout is very stiff to move, requiring a lot of force to close it completely to avoid water leaking from the tub. Then when attempting to open to the first notch to drain the water, again a lot of force required and if not very precise you go to far and flood the floor with water and gellets. They are a PAIN to pick up off the floor! We found using the rubs to hydrate the gellets worked. Drain using the lid as a barrier on the top of the bucket to dump out the excess water, then to fill the blaster ammo cartridges push them down inside the bucket of gellets and they will automatically fill up with no spilling. Carefully remove the ammo container and screw it on to the blaster. We found the buckets to be moderately useful but with a few design flaws.
