Exactly as it is advertised. Mine is blue and has gold flakes in it. Fun to watch. Great for for the value. I’ve had mine for a long time. No problems.

I’ve ordered 2 because I love these so much. I wanted a third but it never made it to me so I was refunded. It’s a great gift for hard to buy for people. Kids, adults, all love it. Helps you relax and take your mind off of what you’re doing. Very entertaining for the money. I feel bad flipping it because I become attached to the picture it makes. Take a picture it will last longer.

It is super pretty but really hard to get a good air balance with it.

Bought this for my desk at work - half the time it doesnt flow at all and the other time it all falls at once. Even if i wanted to use a needle to adjust it (which it doesnt come with) im not sure how i would as it flows too fast AND too slow with its current water:air ratio.

I bought the 10" first and it was a HUGE disappointment for me. The water totally changed color and you didn't get to see what the sand had done for 5 minutes while the water cleared up. Then I bought 4- 7" ones and they at least stayed clear. None of them AND I MEAN NONE OF THEM did the mountain scenes they show on the box. If you slowly roll it from side to side you can kinda get a hint of stacking but nothing like the display on the box! It was $42.- For the large and 26.- for the smaller ones(which are the ones you want). They're also 2 very thin sheets of tempered glass so if you drop it it's going to shatter into a thousand pieces of diamond like glass. Another tidbit of useless information? They talk about a pin hole that you can Add air(or water) or take out air or water using a syringe, but it's NOT included! Not to mention if you add water it has to be distilled, and you have to be careful to take out air so you don't pop the glass under pressure of adding w/o subtracting anything. Equal pressure and all. If you add air then you need to take out water. But FIRST you have to find a syringe AND WANT TO JUMP OFF THAT CLIFF!! Amazon sells such an item for $5.- to $8.- I found the air water ratio to be different with the humidity in the air & the air temperature. I got the blue and Purple of the small ones and a Big Green one that was too heavy/Ackward for an 8 year old, and the water turned green as soon as you touched it. But different companies have different products. It's very often a crap shoot. Read the reviews. Anything can be returned w/in 30 days of receiving. It's a VERY COOL GIFT. It comes with a narrow stand that they suggest you set it in for 4 hrs to let it fully settle for the first time. I first saw something like it(w/o water) when I was 8, 50 years ago. It's NEVER like it was when you were a kid. With that said in the end I bought 2,10" ones and 4, 7" ones. I'm afraid I'll end up getting stuck with the big Green one I dislike, but I'll give it away too! Have a Great Day😊

I love watching the sand art in motion. It's calming to me. The sand art was as described.

The sand art itself is lovely, reminds me of one I had when I was younger. It is nice to watch and it sits all nice and cool on my kid’s desk after I got him this for Christmas. The issue is that apparently, it comes with what I pray is a clean syringe because my other kid opened the box and stabbed herself with a syringe I was unaware was even in the box. This isn’t a slightly sharp plastic syringe like the ones that come in childrens ibuprofen, or a big one like a bike or ball pump. This is just a syringe, thrown into a box for me to hope is clean and sanitary while I rush my kid to urgent care for blood work and a tetanus shot. This is a great value for the money, until you factor in the costs of a visit to emergency services.
