Look, there's only one reason to own this pen. And it's not cause it's the best writer, and Lord knows it doesn't have the best ink capacity either. This, is a signing pen. A flex pen. I don't mean the nib bends- because Lord knows it's the stiffest 18k nib you'll ever use. This is the pen you use when you want to flex on someone's else. When you're signing a contract or a bill or a book deal or termination papers. What are you going to sign with? That flimsy ballpoint pen the receptionist hands you? The balls-less ball point done up to look like a daisy? Or are you going to sign that thing like a man? "No, no, no." You hold out a hand and cooly wave off that emasculated excuse for a pen. You get looks off confusion at first. And then you reach for your breast pocket and whip out this weapon of mass destruction. It's big and it's gold and it looks exactly how an expensive pen should look. Even people who don't know the slightest thing about pens look at this pen and go, "DAMN." That is this pen's sole function and it performs it's function "DAMN" well. Thank you for listening to my review.

First off, this pen is immaculate in every way. The special care and handcrafting that went into making this pen is outstanding. The chevron body with solid gold nib put it over the top. Definitely a fan of Parker and the duo-fold line!. Remember when it comes to pens or any material item,you get what you pay for.

The pen is obviously a stunner. Was having flow issues and I couldn’t figure it out. Flushed it and still wasn’t working well. Took it completely apart (nib & feed) and washed with soap and water. Noticed a hard black substance stuck on the underside of the nib. Not a lot, just in some spots. Scraped it off with my fingernail, put it back together and wallah. Perfect flowing pen. I do recommend this pen. Everything about it is amazing. And the finish of the body even works as a worry stone.

The case is so rough that I cannot see any letter to prove it’s a Duofold. The tape will cause damage to the case when I tear it off. Inside is a general purposed instruction sheet.

工芸品だ。 文化だ。 と言いたいくらい、やっぱり普段使いのLamy Safariとかと違う。 Safariなどは「ペン」で、ボールペンや水性ペンなどと並ぶ筆記具なのに対して、もう少し高額帯の万年筆は書き味、バランスなどで一歩抜きん出た「万年筆」と別ジャンルだなぁ、と感じる。 一昨年末、パーカーのプリミエが終了とのことで思い切って購入して万年筆沼にハマってしまって以来、技術メモはSafariでかなりヘビーに使い、手紙などの手書き文章はプリミエを使いつつ、他の万年筆もちょこちょこ集め、パーカーのフラッグシップのデュオフォールドは気になって気になって気になってしょうがなかったけど、ただ字を書くことしかできない道具1本に定価110,000円って、iPhone買えるじゃん。馬鹿じゃないの？ と、カートに入れては後で買うを押し、一年近く。 悩む時間も勿体無いので、ポイントが貯まっていたこともあって、今回、思い切って買いました。 このブルー。 思ったより渋い暗灰青に金。 金色が映える。 工芸品っぽくて、手にするだけでただの筆記用具じゃないオーラがたまらない。 書き味も、抵抗なくスラスラと書けて抜群。 全てがいい感じに調整されているのに、キャップポストした時のトップヘビーのじゃじゃ馬ぶり。 絶好調で般若心経百枚も行けるわ！ と言いたい気分。 寝相で折ってしまう心配がなければ、寝床に持ち込みたいくらい。 考えてみれば、時計だってうん100万の買っても、1日の時間は1秒も伸びないんだ。 なら万年筆で7,8万なんて安い物。 書き、愛で、手入れする。 この重さ。 存在感。 実によい。 マジで手書きが楽しくなるんだよ。 大体、なんでこの歳で延々と自分の名前を書き続けてんだよ、ってくらいに。 でも、バランスやインクフローなど考えると、プリミエのモノクロームエディション(ブラック)の方が好みではある。 手持ちから2本だけ選べと言われたら、パーカーのプリミエと、このデュオフォールド。 この2本はほんと、買ってよかったと思う。 追記:2022/3/31 購入から1ヶ月半。 手書きのほとんどがこのデュオフォールドになってしまいました。 プリミエのぬらぬら感でガシガシ縦書きで日本語を書くのもいいんですが、プログラム関係で横書きの英字を大量に書く時のデュオフォールドのジェントルな書き心地が、もう、たまらん。 冷静になってみれば、なんで万年筆一本にこんな金額払うねん？ とか思ってしまうんだけど、思ってしまうんだけど！、これを所有して使う、使わないはこれからの数年、十数年、数十年の積み重ねを考えると、十分その価値はある、と思う。 後悔はない。

I decided to amend my review as after using it for a while I think I was a bit overcritical of it. Lookswise it's nice but there's just something I can't quite put my finger on which makes it look a bit cheap to me. Screwing/unscrewing the cap doesn't feel great, the thread feels a bit rough and it can squeak a bit, I've had far better experiences with £5 fountain pens. It's a cartridge/converter and the converter was very stiff but worked fine. The nib looks fantastic. Now the most important bit, the actual writing! I went for a medium nib and although slightly broader than I expected it's a really nice writer. There's a little bit of line variation and just the right combination of smooth/feedback, the section is comfortable and not slippy at all, it's great for long writing sessions, we'll balanced and weighty without being overly heavy. I got mine from Amazon Warehouse with about 40% off the normal price (pen perfect condition, box a bit ripped) and I'm happy with it but don't think I would pay the full price, there are better alternatives out there for that price.

Hallo zusammen, ich habe mich auf die Suche nach einem ganz besonderen Füller gemacht. Und das ist er. Ich habe ihn in der Federstärke M bestellt. Der Tintenfluß ist super, er gleitet nur so über das Blatt und schreibt unheimlich gut. Nur in der Blue-Ausgabe ist der Füllerrumpf von innen mit Gold ausgegoßen, was ihm ein schönes angenehmes Gewicht verleiht. Es wertet den Füller auf. Er liegt super in der Hand. Wenn man ein kleines Schriftbild hat, könnte die Schrift mit der M-Feder zu dick sein. Es knödelt dann ein wenig. Klare Kaufempfehlung von mir.
