HAND WASH ONLY! DO NOT use any 'scouring' pads when cleaning , like the type for cleaning saucepans (green scratchy tops on sponge pads) Use the type with a WHITE top on a sponge pad - supposedly for NON STICK PANS - or use an even softer dish cloth.The 'GLAZE' on the inside of the mug seems to scratch or 'wear prematurely' quite easily.Not sure how long it will be before the glaze is gone completely!?Does not make for good hygiene at that point! 😟Other than that I VERY MUCH LIKE the 'VW T2 Camper' image (in orange & white) on this mug. The image & glaze OUTSIDE of the mug seems to be holding up ok, & better than the inside. I will be more careful next time I use this mug, perhaps not such hot water to clean it, & lower temperature drinks too, but then why should I?If it is truly microwave safe (so not cracking while heating a drink in it - to a DRINKABLE temperature obviously), then the internal glaze should stand up to the same kind of use especially when cleaning it - GENTLY, as I have done, NOT in a dishwasher but in a plastic wasking up bowl while NOT wearing rubber gloves - so ware used to clean it is colder than the drink that was in it.Perhaps my METAL 'VW' mug from the same seller will do better, I hope.

Schöne Tasse, leider kam sie defekt an. Die Verpackung ist ein Witz, das konnte nicht gut gehen. Die Tasse war ohne weiteren Verpackungsschutz in eine Papiertüte eingelegt.Die gute Bewertung gibt es nur, weil die Tasse sehr schön ist.
