These lights really are beautiful! And I really wanted to love them, but I haven't even been able to get them on the wall. Assembling them, including the shade, was honestly very easy. However, the instructions for the wall installation were not really instructions but a vague picture. However, I've installed sconces before, so it shouldn't have been difficult, but, as you can see in my picture, the mounting screws they provided are too long for the base plate so that when you put the caps on (conversely, the caps should/could be deeper to solve this problem), the sconce is loose against the wall. I don't know if that makes sense in words, but, botton line, I can't get the sconce to sturdily mount on the wall with the provided hardware. I'm hoping to find proper length screws in my stash or at the hardware store, otherwise, I'll have to try to return.

I’m giving these 2 stars, even though I should probably technically give them less since the once I plugged in the power cord it blew up! Like with some huge sparks and smoke. See images. They are super pretty but im pissed that I drilled holes into my walls since they are technically none operable now due to the power cord blowing out.

Easy to install, photo instructions easy to read, they look high quality at a great price for two! Love that the light bulb gives two different lighting options for cool or warm lighting. Would definitely purchase more if they come back in stock!

The instructions are a joke. I have no idea how to get the shade on.
