For the cost I really wouldn’t bother. I’m 52 with a very oily T-zone, this moisturiser didn’t stop shine at all. I was very disappointed, save your money

Sand and Sky Oil Control Clearing Moisturiser is a first-class moisturiser and one which is perfect for oily skin especially like it for applying to my T-Zone as this is where my skin does get oily.I found this product to be a pleasure to use as it helps create protection for my skin as it helps prevent the oil from being excess.I like the feel of the moisturiser as it is light yet effective and for me, this is one moisturiser I would happily recommend to anyone who has an excess oil on their skin and want to keep it under control.

I will keep my review short and sweet. Please note that this review is coming from an oily, acne prone, tret user who is currently experiencing the 'peel and purge' stage of moving up a tret percentage.Likes1. Rich and moisturising consistency: Less watery than anticipated. Helps sunscreen not cling to dry patches. Peeling and dry patches have minimised during day. I can't slug at night due to acne so peeling has become a daily battle.2. Salicylic acid: Has helped reduce the excess closed comedones I was getting from tret.3. Aloe: Calms any raw sensitive skin.4. Doesn't contain Vitamin C: My holy grail day lotion, contains L absorbic acid. An esthetician informed me that the tiny bumps I was getting could be because your not supposed to used vit c the day after exfoliating and Tretinoin is a chemical exfoliant. Vitamin C can be unstable in skincare especially when the brand doesn't explain their stabilising process. I like that the only vitamin c this contain is naturally from aloe.Cons1. Shiny T zone: My T-zone still get shiny, but this is easily remedied with some oil blot sheets or mattifying powder. I only experience this is I'm active and out all day or post workout.2. Witch Hazel: Any product containing witch hazel makes my face sting for 5 minutes after application. There are no other side effects. It's just irritating and can make my face temporarily red and tender.3. Fungal acne: I'm prone to fungal acne and this isn't the most compatible lotion. I find nizoral masks, tea tree and fungal cream helps keep break out at bay.Hope this helps you make a more informed purchase decision based on your specific skin care needs.

Sand and Sky Oil Control Clearing MoisturiserEver since I stopped taking hormonal birth control my skin has been a hot mess express. My hormonal acne is back and my face is so oily you'd swear I spend my days standing over a deep fat fryer.As part of my routine to help combat this - I started incorporating this oil clearing moisturizer. I've heard many positive things about Sand and Sky before so I couldn't wait to see what it would do for me personally.Now, after about 3 weeks of daily use I can say I am happy I made the switch. While not completely erasing the shine on my t-zone. My skin is so much less oily, less prone to break ups and overall has a healthier, brighter look and feel to it.The cream is easy to administer thanks to the pump action. As my skin is a little bit dryer now that the seasons are starting to turn, I do have to use about 1.5 pumps to get full coverage. However I feel the bottle should still last a fairly long time.The cream has no perfumed scent to it. It just has a 'creamy' smell as far as I can tell, which I am actually finding a rather pleasant change of pace.

I have been using this moisturiser for about 3 weeks now and I can honestly say my skin feels amazing! It feels so smooth to touch and really feels like it’s been rehydrated and given a new lease of life. It looks brighter too.I have heard great things about this brand so had always been keen to try it and I’m so glad I did.You get a decent size bottle with a pump and one small pump of the cream is enough to give full coverage to my face, so I think this bottle will last a long time.There is no scent to the cream, which initially I thought I wouldn’t like, but actually, it makes it feel more refreshing not having a scent.I love that this cream is only made with natural and organic ingredients, it reassures me that I’m putting something on my face that isn’t full of nasty chemicals.My skin feels healthy and revitalised. I don’t think I could go back to using any other moisturiser now.The only reason for my loss of a star in the rating is the price 😬 £34.90 is very expensive and much more than I would normally spend on a moisturiser. I think the important thing to remember though is that you’re always going to pay more for top-quality ingredients and you only want to be putting the best type of products on your face. I’d say it’s worth the investment.
