Great Oil for Diya Lamp
I use this mustard oil for my Diya Lamp. High quality and burns great. The oil has a unique smell (like wasabi) and it smelled fresh when I opened it. Had to contact Amazon about one concern with the bottle I received, but it had nothing to do with the quality of this product. I like how the company provides a meal to hungry children for every product they sell. I would definitely buy this brand again. One last thing I would like to mention is that it does state on the back of the bottle "for external use only". This is fine with me since I use it only for my Diya.

A must-have for traditional cooking
I’ve been using Jiva Organic Mustard Oil for over a month now, and I can honestly say it tastes just like the homemade oil we used back in Nepal. The aroma is strong but pleasant, and it makes curries so flavorful. Definitely a must have in my kitchen now.

Great price for the product
This mustard oil has been great for cooking and also for oil massaging. It’s very potent which I like. A little goes long way. Cost efficient but I really wish it came in a glass bottle and not plastic. For eco conscious people it’s hard to see oils in plastic bottles. I changed the oil into a glass container immediately after I received it. So far it didn’t effect the quality.

For External Use ONLY
I understand that there is debate at to how healthy mustard seed oil is for you and it is widely used in Asian countries but it is actually BANNED in the USA for cooking due to the amount of erucic acid it contains. There are brands that are considered safer but this is not one of them. They advertise it as being used for cooking, making consumers assume that it IS on of the safer brands but when it arrives it does have the "for external use only" warning on the back. That needs to be CLEARLY stated in the description and NOT marketed for cooking

Great quality
Like all Jiva products this is excellent quality and arrived well packed (not leaking 😊) people should note though that this is massage oil, not “food”, but the food products sold by Jiva are excellent quality too

Hot but smooth and natural taste
It's real mustard oil! It's not mustard flavored oil. It's is very spicy in a good way.

Bottle is plastic not glass. Packaging was different than pictured. Smells incredible.
