Easy and low cost.
I do not leave reviews much. But, I will for these. For less then $25 bucks and a Utube video they work! It involves sticking your key in and out opening and closing the driver door it's easy! If I can do it so can you! Go ahead and save some money. I dare you!

Follow directions for programming
Worked great for my 2000 4Runner. A note for programming, when you get into programming mode and you press unlock and lock at the same time then lock to program the remote, the locks only cycle once for successful programming. If they cycle twice the programming was rejected. Try again. For me, holding lock/unlock at the same time for 1 second and IMMEDIATELY pressing lock for two seconds did the trick. Both remotes programmed and all functions work as intended. You can get these to work and save so much money. Following the video on the websites referenced in the packaging. Programyourremote dot com worked for me. Good quality. I’d definitely buy again.

Worked on 2000 4runner with TVIP RS3200 system
Worked on my 2000 4runner with the VIP RS3200 system, but NOT with the factory programming so I went to the website listed on the package and used the ALTERNATE instructions. These are the second set of instructions that use the door lock/unlock button on the door handle rather than just the key-in-ignition and opening and closing of the driver door. It was difficult because you have to pace the lock/unlock cycle yourself and it has to be done while your door lock motors haven’t been worn down from hours of messing with them beforehand lol. The website is free despite what other reviews say. There is an ad that pops up between some of the menus but I didn’t have to enter any card info or anything silly like that once I closed the ad. My 4runner had stopped unlocking from the key fob (everything else worked fine) and I struggled with replacing the junction block, door lock motors, and messing with a bunch of other stuff only to realize my factory remote finally stopped sending the unlock signal after 25 years. The rear window button works but I may turn that off since it only caused me problems in the past. Panic button works and I haven’t accidentally hit it yet. Looks factory, feels a little different but works just fine. Can’t be beat for the price. Still working on programming the second remote but will wait for the lock motors to cool off again later since it involves locking/unlocking the doors ten times consecutively. Range is the same as the original fob. Actually uses a larger battery than the original fob so I expect they’ll last a long time. If you get these and they don’t pair from the factory rs3200 programming, don’t give up! Try the second set of instructions from the website on the new key fob packaging and give it a few tries to get the cadence right.

Great buy!
This worked great for my 2002 4Runner. The size is good just, not bulky. Works great like if it were original. The only thing is that it comes with two and it would not let me activate both at the same time, but at least I have an extra one in case this one goes out. Not bad for the price

Fantastic solution to replace aging and broken fob remotes!
Excellent quality! And they work very well. Purchased these to replace a physically broken (due to aging, plastic fatigue) and a missing remote for some friends. The remotes arrived with batteries pre-installed, which made the programming process even easier to do. They look great, restored some of our friends’ pleasure in owning their prized vehicle (for them, keyless entry is an important feature, creature comfort), and you should have seen their faces light up when they were gifted these high-quality key fob remote replacements for their 4-Runner SR5! The programming part is a process that takes a few minutes. Links to “how to program” are included in the package, though it was more-preferable to simply pull up a video online, to see the process. Fantastic outcome. Would definitely buy these again.

I recommend this
Easy to program and works great. Once you unlock the vehicle with the remote. If you don't open the door, it automatically locks itself back.

It works but you may give your neighbor a heart attack with the alarm button so easily triggered.
Quality: We needed to replace two remotes - one was missing, one had a broken case. Both of these new remotes work to unlock and lock the doors, to lower the tailgate window, and on the back, to set off the alarm. And boy does it set off the alarm! On the OEM remotes the alarm button is inset so you have to be very purposeful before setting off the horns that are EXTREMELY LOUD. Not so with these replacements. The alarm button is RAISED so if you have your keys in your pocket and you bend over or bump into something or in any way press on the back of the remote. While weeding the garden I've wondered what knucklehead set off their car alarm. It was me. When leaving the house for work early in the morning, I nearly gave a little old lady walking her dog a heart attack when the alarm accidentally went off. I have startled a whole troop of campers when alarm button was hit as we sat around the fire when something knocked this remote. So... they work, and if you're someone who needs your car alarm going off at random times when your key fob gets pressure on it, this is the product for you. Setup/Instructions: The instructions are straightforward and you can program the remote to work with your 4Runner pretty easily - it did take me a few tries on one of them. That wasn't a product issue, just a timing issue of how the programming works with opening and closing the door and inserting and removing the keys and pressing the buttons in the right sequence. Value for the money: Key fobs are really expensive at a dealership and better (but not cheap) through third parties and key machines. These were affordable and functional. Conclusion: I wish I had bought a different product that wasn't so easily triggered, but I will keep them because they are still functional, and I'm not sure there are affordable alternatives that don't have the same issue.
