ILNP Birthday Suit - Cashmere Pink Holographic Nail Polish, Sparkly Neutral Nude, Chip Resistant Manicure, Non-Toxic, Vegan, Cruelty Free, Non-Gel

Sweet Pea. I have pale skin and need to be careful with color or I washout. This shade is flattering on me. It’s a light, dusty mauve with a subtle rosy glow. Very neutral. It feels minimalist, tidy, and clean (with a million teeny, tiny sparkles). The polish glides on and almost self-levels, which is wonderful. I did 2 coats of this with no base or top coat just to see how it performs. It’s only been 24 hours, but I’ve peeled 10 lbs of potatoes, had my hands wet, and performed all the other tasks for an Easter holiday meal, and the polish looks great. I’ll be back to update.

genuinely my fav thing ever now! i got the color sweet pea (pic without flash so yall can see what it looks like in natural light settings) and it’s gorgeous even when the light isn’t hitting it. this one is a sheer pink with holographic fine glitter and it’s just lovely. the formula also is perfect - some polishes i feel either dry too fast or take an hour to dry, but this one is perfect. the formula is thin so it glides on (still pigmented though!) super easily and it dries relatively fast, but not so fast that you can’t fix the evenness of the coat at first! idk if that makes sense vut yeah don’t worry, the formula is great and the cap also has a rubber coating. the brush is a flat brush but its narrow still so its not as clunky as those really big nail polish brushes. warning about color reactions: i use orly nail defense as a top coat (not base coat as these are fake nails) but it turned the color on the orange side, if you can see it a bit on the tip. i wouldn’t mind, but it’s quite uneven, so i’d say don’t use that treatment specifically with it. otherwise it has been perfect! i actually reached out to their customer service on their website and they are AMAZING. i just informed them over the color reaction and they immediately offered for a replacement, refund, or another polish, and eventually they had the idea of sending me their top coat since that one definitely won’t change the color! they are a lovely company with lovely employees and amazing nail polish. tl;dr this is a sign bestie. buy it. you will not regret it one bit! worth every penny!

Picture is 10 days wearing 2 coats of Keepsake. This was my first purchase of ILNP polish and what an introduction it was! Lovely packaging and beautiful product. I have been an OPI and Essie user for years. I stopped using Essie because I discovered that as the bottle aged it required more and more drying time on my nails. I love OPI but their nude colors can be temperamental. Some can be very, very streaky and others will peel within 1-2 days, despite a base and top coat. I purchased Birthday Suit (not pictured) based upon reviews and it is, indeed, a beautiful polish. It goes on well, with a jelly type consistency that “self levels.” You need thin coats for a beautiful look. I used a base coat, 2 coats of the polish, and a top coat. And had 10 days of wear. That’s a win for me. I would call Birthday Suit truly a nude but with a fine glitter. I did not see (at least on my skin tone — I am a medium light, neutral in foundation) any pink undertone. Maybe the polish was too much of a “birthday suit” match for my skin tone, but it was truly a nude/beige with fine glitter on my nails. Lovely but not quite what I hoped. I tried it over an OPI color (Baby Take a Vow) and magic happened. I liked that combination! I purchased a second bottle of ILNP in the color Keepsake. (See picture. That’s 10 days of wear!). It also applied beautifully with no streaks. (I apply in thin layers, and allow drying time between coats.) Keepsake is my new favorite polish. It’s perfect for everyday wear. You don’t notice anything special about the color until sun or certain lights hit your nails but then it’s like they sparkle in the most elegant way. Not flashy, just classy. I hope ILNP never stops making Keepsake. This will be my new go-to and will replace my OPI (Baby Take a Vow) and Essie (Sugar Daddy). For those wondering about the color, Keepsake is close to Essie’s Mademoiselle. Lovely, lovely color for those who love neutral nails with that slight pink undertone and a bit of sheerness. UPDATE: I have used Keepsake a couple more times since my original review. Three coats is just a beautiful, opaque neutral, nude pink with a slight lilac undertone. I still love it. I have since purchased other colors as gifts. If you are on the fence about this brand, don’t be. Buy it. Oh, an a note about drying time. This polish is not a quick dry type. You need to allow 20 min between coats for a salon smooth finish. If you apply one coat on top of another, it will look gummy and will take forever to dry. This is not unique to this brand of polish. It’s the same for any polish. Manicures take time. Find a good podcast or stream a show once a week to do your nail self-care.

This is my review of ILNP in Sweet Pea. It is my first purchase from this brand. I got three colors to try, Manor House, Chleo and Sweet Pea. I chose to try out Sweet Pea first as it has more pink in it of the three and I was looking for a nice neutral pale pink for this week’s manicure. I will say that Sweet Pea in person is lighter and more pale nude pink than the stock photo in the description. I am glad it turned out to be lighter as it made for a really nice neutral manicure. I also love the subtle sparkle it has. I would not call it holographic as the description suggests but in the sunlight it does give a nice sparkle. In indoor lighting it appears light nude pink with an understated sparkle. I applied Sweet Pea over two base coats, the first is Sally Hansen Diamond Strength followed by two coats of China Glaze in Fairy Dust. I use the China Glaze polish as it’s really thick and it builds up the nail and smooths out imperfections. It has taken the place of a gel or acrylic. I applied two coats of Sweet Pea to get it opaque. The polish is a nice creme finish that is not to thick or thin. I will finish with one coat of Essie No Chips Ahead and hopefully this manicure will go two weeks as I am used to. I give this product 4 stars based upon the color, coverage and initial application. I knocked off one star for the cost. At $10 it is a splurge but it would not stop me from buying again. I really like how it turned out.

This nail polish is wonderful. I usually buy OPI but happened into this line of polish. Love the coverage and color. Get alot of compliments. Bought several colors and love them all. Great selection of colors too. You can apply one coat for a more sheer look or apply several coats for more color. Would recommend as I am a nail polish fanatic.

Revised again- This polish is incredible enough for me to follow up TWICE! It is BEAUTIFUL!!! Quality polish!!! It does NOT CHIP! Last pic after two weeks! Revised- I changed to 5 stars! I just added a pic. My third pic is after 8 days! No chips. This polish is incredible. It almost feels like stick on polish. It’s so smooth and well made. Dont hesitate to buy this. I love it!!!!! I bought this after reading all of the reviews. I usually only paint my toe nails for summer. I have not painted my fingernails in 20 years. I don’t like chipped nails, removing it and repainting, etc and I’m very hard on my nails gardening, etc. I never found nail polish that lasted. So I just quit. I used this for the first time last week. I bought SWEET PEA and KISS AND TELL. I don’t like super bright colors in my hands. Kiss and Tell I used first. It went on like a dream. Very Smooth and two coats, looked amazing. I was impressed!!! It lasted five days and my thumb finally nail chipped. I thought it lasted great. So I decided to take it off and try the other color. I was dreading removing the polish. Well, let me tell you, this was the easiest polish I have ever taken off! ONE cotton ball took all of it off, 10 nails! Minimal effort! Bonus!! Next, I used the SWEET PEA. My pics are three coats 🧥 f Sweet pea. It was very sheer. I think I expected more color coverage but I’m still happy with it. It dried fast. This is by far, the best polish I have ever used. It goes on like a dream, comes off like a dream, looks really nice with great coverage and lasts pretty long. This is a win win. I will be buying more colors!!! I think I’m a convert and will start painting my nails again! Yay!! Last pic is Sweet pea on the left and Kiss and Tell on the right.

I was disappointed that "Birthday Suit" wasn't a little more pink, especially given the "cashmere pink" description. This color is still very nice and works for everyday use, though, which is what I had hoped for. One coat is pretty sheer, but gets good coverage with the wide brush. I especially appreciate the grippy texture of the brush handle, which makes application - and opening the bottle - so much easier! Two coats appears on the taupe side against my fair, neutral-to-warm skin, but the color still reads as beige, with a hint of rainbow shimmer. I would call the base color a warm light beige. I might try layering this over a soft pink base. The rainbow shimmer is lovely - it's very fine like diamond dust. But to me the sparkle is most visible in low light, up close. In brighter light, the shimmer seems to disappear. This is the opposite of what I expected, but still makes this color a low-key choice for day or night.

This line is absolutely beautiful! I started off easy and bought the base and top coats, and polish in Birthday Suit. The color is beautiful, very classy and not loud, exactly how I wanted it to be. It shimmers beautifully and catches the light just right. I was so happy that I immediately bought two more colors, Joy and Holding Hands. Joy is the perfect shade of pink for my medium olive skin tone (my hands are darker thanks to the sun). The polish lasted well over a full week and did not chip like other brands. It looked good even on the day I took off the polish to try another color! It was also so easy to remove. I will be a lifelong customer. Please have a sale soon so I can order all of them! Love that they are based in the U.S. and send the polishes in a nice box with a cute sticker.
