With fake NAD+ on the market and an intermittent ban on NAD+ sales, That dosage of B3 is a better choice. Niacinamide, which has an additional ammonia group DOES NOT cause flushing. Niacinamide is NOT used for the production of NAD+ but joins a salvage pathway used to regenerate used NAD+. That pathway consumes methyl donors which have many other important uses. One probably should not be supplementing niacinamide at all unless one is also consuming the methyl donor TMG. I consume at least 2000 mg of TMG per day. Before I learned that, I had been consuming 100 mg of niacinamide as part of a complete B vitamin tablet. That 100 mg is the maximum recommended by biochemists even with TMG. I continue to use that tablet and DO NOT consume this powder. The powder recommends that one consume 500 mg per day. The bag would provide 200 doses. It CANNOT replace high-dose B3 and in any case, high-dose B3 DOES NOT improve health. I purchased this powder for TOPICAL use. As a cosmetic antioxidant, the proper concentration ranges from 5% - 20%. My item came sealed and in tack. As for the item, it didnt come with a measuring scoop so i had to use a scale to measure exactly 500mg. But my scale didnt have a mode for measuring in mg. So I had to do it in g, since 1000mg equals 1g i weight out .5g and mixed it in 4oz of juice, to my surprise the taste was pretty awful. So I tried it with 8oz of juice and it was fine, can bearly taste anything. So i reccomend mixing the 500mg in at least 8oz of juice. I wouldn't do just plain water as the taste is pretty bad. Other then that i putted the rest of the niacin in a sanitized bottle and kept it in the refrigerator. As for the results, I will update this review again within a few weeks or so of any changes.
