The only drawback is that, in my door frame, the net gets between the door and the jamb sometimes and prevents the door from closing. I could have solved this by moving the net a little further out, but instead I just push it out of the way every time I close the door. It's very flexible and allowed our dog to go in and out to the backyard with no issues of rips. The sides are a bit like a fabric similar to a quilt binding and can be attached with the velcro or the tacks it comes with it. We found we needed to add additional velcro and put tacks on the top to keep it secure after a few months. **Q: What is the material? Why can you only buy 1?** A: We bought one. It comes with two panels that are attached at the top. **Q: Can this be used on a smaller door?** A: It can easily be used for a narrower door. Just adjust the velcro.
