Creating a meal plan that is interesting, tasty and healthy all at the same time is challenging. On top of that creating delectable meals from the different regions of the country as diverse as India is even a tougher task. But Archana Doshi makes it simple for us. She has curated 30 meal plans using ingredients easily available in the market and so easy to try. I has created a challenge for myself to eat 100 plants based meals for my health goals but being a foodie I always found that difficult to execute. Thank god for this must buy book!!

Healthy recipes for the Indian Palate
Other than reading I think I've always loved cooking especially Indian food.And that's the thing about Indian Cuisine, each state has its unique dishes that are all equally delicious. This book by Archana Doshi consists of 30 meal plans for healthy vegetarian recipes. All set in a thali format, each meal plan consists of different yummy dishes from salads and raitas to dal and Jowar Rotis.Another great thing about these recipes is that they don't have any fancy ingredients and focus more on locally available seasonal vegetables. Also, Archana focuses on the Katori measurement for portion control which is great!In present times healthy recipes are considered either baked or steamed veggies or things like oats. But as Indians looking to eat healthier that can get boring very easily. So it's great that these recipes stick to flavors that our palates are accustomed to and are also healthy at the same time. Filled with pictures of each meal plan I think one can't resist giving these recipes a try, they're just so mouthwatering. Also, the recipes are easy to follow and understand. I'll be sure to share some dishes that I've tried from this book!
