Click and stay
Based on other reviews, I was unsure when buying these, but decided to find out for myself. These were purchased as dust covers for unused RJ45 connections when not in use between seasons on a covered screened porch. In my experience, they click on and stay on. Wish they were cheaper, but more important that they work properly.

Prevents cable damage
A little pricey for what they are. But I think they pay for themselves in the long run by preventing the clip on the RJ45 connector from breaking making a cable basically worthless without replacing the connector. They also potentially prevent network issues due to dust and dirt on the connector. These are sturdy and solid. I also like them being black as the clear plastic alternatives are hard to see when dropped, causing much foot pain when stepped on :)

Work Great
I got these to protect the RJ45 connectors on cables that I carry around and also for running cables through dropped ceilings and they work great and will not fall off. I sometimes have to give premade cables to others to install and these keep the connectors safe. A simple item that saves a lot of problems.

These things are "ABOVE AND BEYOND"
I usually don't post reviews when a bunch already exist for a product. But since there are only a few for this product: These things are excellent!!!!! Nuff said!!!!

Keep Falling Out
I have yet to have one of these stay put. they are made of bery hard plastic and just do not fit correctly. Would not recommend these.

Why did I not buy these earlier?

Perhaps it is us
I needed something to protect my CAT cable for my satellite system when we are RVing. I wanted something to cover the end but was easy to detach when we are ready to connect to our antenna. These seemed perfect but maybe it's us but it's darn hard to remove them. I've broken several trying to pry them off the CAT cable (glad they came in a bundle).

Keeps ethernet plug clean
These little caps click on easily and prevent dust and dirt from getting onto the ethernet plug contacts. Great product!
