I've been using this shave cream for over a year and have nothing but great things to say about it. It lathers extremely well when using a cup and brush, smells great, and prtects my skin from getting razor burn. I highly recommend this shave cream to anybody looking to up their shave game!

I've tried a lot of shaving creams. This is by far the best! Great lubrication, smooth, clean, comfortable shave. Results in way less razor burn than Gillette foamy. You need to have a shaving brush to use this. I highly recommend the Viking brush.

This is the absolute best shave cream I have ever had. I’ve been a user of Edge for several years and I didn’t think anything could compare to it. The Jack Black shave, cream allows me to shave closer in my face to end up smoother than with any product I’ve ever had. I swear by it!

So I like to get the negatives out of the way first. This stuff sticks to your face. Or wherever else you use it I presume, I only shave my face though. It really stays there. Which might be why it keeps me from getting cuts and ingrown hairs. It really protects your skin to the point where it sometimes feels over protective. Like a helicopter parent or jealous partner. It takes way longer to rinse off my blade when shaving as well as rinsing off my face because it is so gum-like. I traded skin injury (skinjuries?) for extended shave times. Usually a little more than 20 min to shave now. This is ok when I have time to shave at my leisure but I hate shaving and only do it for work because I have to and for making sure my woman doesn't look like a bear mauled her neck when I love up on her (apparently my facial hair is scratchy). Thanks to Covid I have to shave way more frequently to wear face masks properly at work so this extended shave time is incredibly annoying. The positives I mentioned a bit already I guess, but let me expand a little. Way less mini shave cuts and razor burn for me. I mean they are almost non existent. Fyi, I use a safety razor because I get ingrown hairs with those multi blade razors. The safety razors made ingrowns a thing of the past but then I started getting mini cuts; which are a decent trade off since they heal way faster. So yeah the positives outweigh the negative overall. And when I'm done shaving my skin is softer and smoother than it was when I used other products. In conclusion, your skin should feel more pampered than standard shave cream but ready a podcast or audiobook while you shave, you're gonna be in there a while.

UPDATE 1/26 This thing has lasted me a year and a half and I shave every day for work. Factor in vacation and weekends when I don't shave, it has still lasted me a whole year. I gave up on the brush I had been using with my other stuff and just apply it straight to my face which actually saves time. Just re-ordered and will continue to use this.. Have used The Art of Shaving cream for 10 years. It's great but expensive. Thought I would try this based on reviews and it's half the cost. Works well, but doesn't foam up nearly as well, which means you have to use twice as much.

Works great, lasts forever as very little cream is used each time I shave. Face feels smooth and not dry or oily after shaving
