The most important thing about this stone is to not put it on a wet, or on an already hot fire. All the stones will crack. I compare it to a frog in boiling water. Gradually heat the stone up. This fits perfect and the small grill. It reduces direct heat from the coals allowing convection smoke flavor to penetrate the meal. It also works great for making pizzas under 13 inches or 4 to 5 stuffed bolillos.
