Sonic The Hedgehog Advent Calendar 2025 - 24 Surprises with Exclusive Collectible 2.5 Inch Holiday Action Figures!

Yes, I did in fact buy this advent calendar in July and open the entire thing the day it arrived. Someone had to do it! Overall I think that this is a great advent calendar. The most notable feature on display here are the nine included character figures-- Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy Rose, Mighty, Ray, Dr. Eggman, Metal Sonic, and Super Sonic. That's the entire playable cast of Sonic Mania Plus, along with two of its villains, and even Amy! Hard to ask for a better selection than that. Along with those figures come three Badniks (the robots!), along with a whole slew of accessories. The accessories are unfortunately where the calendar falters a bit, but not too badly. I don't have much to say about the quality of the figures. They're on the same level as Jakks' usual fair, reasonable quality control but with the occasional minor paint error. However, the included Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are unique Christmas themed variants! Sonic and Tails are particularly cute, with both of them totally decked out in full Christmas outfits, Sonic as Santa and Tails as a reindeer. Knuckles gets the short end of the stick here, wearing only a santa hat, but it's still a great figure nonetheless. As well, it's worth mentioning that this is the very first release of the classic Metal Sonic, Ray, and Chopper figures! Unfortunately for collectors, that means that if you want to get ahold of these guys before they get released separately, you'll have to deal with receiving duplicates of several characters you already likely own. Not really a big issue though. Now, the accessories. It comes with a lot of the most crucial accessories for a set of Sonic figures- Rings, item monitors, Chaos Emeralds, springs, etc. But the selection isn't perfect. For some reason, it includes multiple 10-ring items (the rings with a big number 10 in the center), which aren't an item associated with Classic Sonic... and also a very dull accessory in general compared to the others. As well, this advent calendar contains one "exclusive" accessory, a tiny plastic wrapped present. At the risk of sounding nitpicky, it's a bit disappointing. The Sonic figure can't hold it, it doesn't do anything, and it's not an item from any of the games so it's not very exciting. I would've preferred something else, like another Chaos Emerald, or a different sort of accessory that wasn't already included, like a Checkpoint. But, despite all the words I just wrote about it, it's really not that big of a deal, as it's just one day out of the 24. That said, this advent calendar's gift distribution falls a little flat at the end. Spoilers--- The three days leading up to the final day are two Chaos Emeralds (back to back!), followed by the wrapped present, and the final day is Sonic. The Sonic is obviously great, but you'd think that they wouldn't make the final few days leading up to the big finale some of the most repetitive. At any rate, my complaints here are all just nitpicks. This is a great advent calendar for a Sonic fan. It comes with a huge slew of characters and lots of robots for them to bop, and tons of accessories to add to the fun! I love it, and would highly recommend it.

Nice calendar for my sonic obsessed 3yr old. The toys are well made, not cheap like other advent calendars out there.

This advent calendar was a big hit in our house. Each day brought a fun little surprise, and my kid loved building up a full collection of Sonic figures by the end. The figures are small but well-made, with good detail for their size. It’s a great way to make the holiday countdown extra exciting, especially for young Sonic fans. Just be aware that some of the figures are very tiny, so they’re best for older kids who won’t lose or misplace them easily.

Our family was shocked by the quality of the toys. I was expecting tiny hard plastic. These have movable limbs and are very large. We are happy with our advent calendar this year!!

Great quality character variety is awesome surprising and looks of high quality so far all pieces are there won't know for another 23 days haha easy to use child is able to open on his own although some pieces need to have some adult help to cut harness toys

4 stars because it’s been great for the sale we got it for but I would not be as happy if I had paid full price. 2 toys broke within the same day. Also why on earth would you make a kid advent calendar secured so every other day scissors are required to assist.

I have a 20 yr old so I mean it when I have say that we have done plenty of advent calendars for our kids over all the years. I bought this for 2024 for my then 4 year old, but for whatever reason we didn’t use it. We used it this year 2025 and it was amazing, my 5 yr old loved all the sonic suprises. Normally an advent calendar gives you like 3-4 good things and then a bunch of dumb ones. This one gave so many Sonic and friend characters, and even the dumb ones were fun like 2 sets of 3 rings, crystals/shards a bounce thing that actually has a little spring to it like he jumps on in the video game, the crab and wasp thing that kill him in the video game, lots of fun things. My son was happy with all of them except maybe the 10 ring coin. The figures are all pretty big for an advent calendar. The only complaint is that they were hard to get out of the plastic!! I had to use long tweezers to pry out some of them especially the crystal gem shard things! I don’t have a picture of all of them but here is most.. I think 20/24 items, there is a pen in the pic for size reference

This is a great advent calendar. I was very happy except for that the toys can be very hard to get out and it shows what the first thing your getting is on the back otherwise very happy

This was an epic advent calendar, I thought it was a bit pricey for a kids advent but it was worth it. He got so many cool figurines that are usually $5 to $12 each. Highly recommend.
