Uneasy Thoughts on This Product: Zero Information Provided
I have two toy breed dogs. They inevitably have dental issues as they age: their small teeth just cannot hold up to a lifetime of use even with my daily brushing and regular scaling. Sometimes, I need to have bad teeth professionally pulled. Other times, a bad tooth might eventually fall out on its own, but not without pain and aggravation for the dog. So I thought this might be a good product to keep on hand in my first aid kit.The Amazon product page provides little information about the ingredients other than they are “all-natural and herbal-based.” I was expecting the packaging to provide more details – I always want to know what is in any product before using it on myself or on one of my dogs (especially products that will be ingested like this one). Unfortunately, there is no package information insert, and the box itself has little information (see photo of the package side). This definitely leaves me hesitant to want to put this into my dogs’ mouths. There are some other things making me scratch my head as well. First, the packaging clearly states, “For Veterinary Use Only.” If this product contains nothing but natural herbs, why would there be any veterinary restriction (suggesting this product requires a veterinary Rx)? Second, the packaging is clearly being marketed for cats only. Only cats are pictured on the box – both in photo and graphic form. Cats and dogs are a different species, and not all types of products can be used for both. Again, because there is such scant product information, I’m really not assured this product is intended for use with dogs.Lastly, this product is made in South Korea. I will honestly admit that I know nothing about South Korean manufacturing standards. But pet owners certainly remember the quality issues from some China-made products – issues that led to the needless deaths of many pets here in America. Being manufactured in South Korea may also explain why there’s no information about the product’s ingredients, uses, warnings (US packaging standards would require this), and may also explain why a supposedly all-natural, herbal product would be restricted to veterinary use only (maybe standards differ in South Korea). Before receiving the product, I had intended on at least putting a little on one of my dog’s gums where he recently lost a tooth to test it out. But given all the concerns I have raised above, I’m no longer comfortable performing that test. Further, the product comes sterilized (via gamma rays) in a sealed plastic pouch (see photo). While I wanted to examine the product myself and see if I could smell any herbs, I didn’t want to break that sterilization seal for solely that purpose. The package states this product is viable for only 3 years from the date of manufacture. Mine was manufactured on March 8, 2022 – nearly a year ago. So I didn’t want to accelerate the expiration of this product by tampering with the sterilization just to give it a sniff.Bottom line: there is just not enough information about this product to answer my questions and ease my concerns before I’d be willing to try it on one of my dogs. I will take the product with me to my next vet appointment to see if, by chance, she has any familiarity with the product or on the use of any veterinary products made in South Korea. I will update this review if I find out any additional information. The concept of this product is a good one, and I would have a use for it. But I definitely need more information before I can trust using this product.

It actually worked on my pitbull
The male pit occasionally get red and bloody gums from chewing his toys and rawhide. Adding some of this to his food or treat for a few days seems to aide in healing the gums quicker. It also seemed to have reduced the intensity of his bad breath. It's getting better by the use. I will be ordering more as I'm getting low. This is truly effective for my dog.

States on packaging FOR USE BY VET
My big concern is the packaging stating for very use only (licensed vet dr) so I haven't tried this. I got it originally for my cat with bad teeth but when I thoroughly read the box I stopped this away. How the instructions and everything is presented, to me, makes it seem like unless YOU are a veterinarian yourself to not use this. It is Ajmal a form of medical treatment and like everything else similar you should advise a professional before use in case of side affects or injury.I thought this was something anyone could use and try, hence me getting this, but even though it seemed self explained and I was going to use it as directed I didn't vet in not avet (even though I feel it could really truly help my little man out :( ).

Works well on mouth sores. Small amount needed.
This works well on sores inside the lip or mouth. It forms a barrier to help keep bacteria out of wounds. It starts to get tacky fairly quickly. I’m not sure how long it takes to dry fully. I haven’t been able to hold onto the cat for more than a few moments. It does seem to be helping. She doesn’t seem to care for the taste, but she is pretty picky. The smell is a little odd. I wouldn’t call it unpleasant. Just unusual. I’m happy to have found something that can be safely used in the mouth.

Easy to use
I ordered this 0.35oz CUROVET MucoMax, Oral Wound Care Gel on my Kitten, as she lost a couple of her Baby Teeth. While the outside Box looked a bit banged up, the actual Product was inside the Box, sealed in a Plastic Pouch.Like another Review, I also was looking for the 100% Natural Ingredients and couldn’t not find them anywhere on the Product or the Box. I’ve also wondered what 0.35oz of Natural Ingredients could possibly be in this Product that cost $34.99, even if it treats Oral Wounds and Inflammation. This Product is a bit expensive.Either Way, I put the Dosage Amount of this Product in my Kitten’s Food, as suggested. But, the Picky Eater that she is, she smelled her Food and just walked away hungry. I guess she did not like the Smell of this Product. I haven’t tried it again because she hasn’t had any Oral Issues.
