I love the boar bristles and the fact that it doesn't contain any plastic bits. It's perfect size for short to medium hair.

Really made for people, but this is great to use on cats to remove shedding hair. The cats enjoy the brusing and the brush, with its fine bristles, pick up everything. Good value and does a wonderful job

Between the bristles and handle it narrows down quite a bit and that always concerns me that it will break there. It hasnt yet. And worked really nice at removing a weird curl that my moustache was developing on one side. Not really a soft brush so I need to be careful I don't screach up my face. Still glad I purchased it for styling though.

Bought this brush for my husband who has fine, sparse hair. Was hoping for nice soft bristles and am very happy with the quality of this small brush. Just perfect for him. Now he can use his old brush for the cats who visit him after his shower!! ;)

This brush is pictured on the left, with the dark handle. It does have a very nice wooden handle. It does have boar bristles. But, it is not 1.5 inches in diameter. If you can zoom in, you'll see the measurement of both brushes on the ruler underneath them. My whole reason for purchasing this brush was because I wanted that size which is the same as my very old hairbrush pictured on the right side. This one is only 1.25 inches in diameter. That is why I'm only giving it 3 stars. I'm sure it will be exactly what someone else is looking to buy, but when shopping online, we need the correct facts. Also fyi, the bristles are actually very soft. I was hoping for stiffer bristles for styling my short hair. It would be great for a child or someone with thinning hair and delicate scalp. The seller was very prompt with shipping. And again, the wood handle is very nice and it does have boar bristles.

I have a condition where my back itches all the time. The worst are the areas on my back that I can't reach. I've tried conventional back scratchers, but they don't work. Well, this little hairbrush is tasked as my back scratcher, never to be used for anything else. And it is wonderful! The soft boar bristles are perfect, not too soft, not too hard.

This brush is perfect for my hair, which is short, thinning and baby-fine. It's comfortable to hold and is gentle on my hair. I'm very pleased.

The bush looks nice and works well, but if you plan on removing your hair from it, the bristles will pull out as well. After one use, I used my fingers to pull out hairs and one whole clump of bristles came out as well. Since I only plan to use the brush to turn ends under, the brush will probably be ok for a while, but I doubt it would last for serious styling. It also sheds individual bristles while brushing. I would return it but since it is now damaged, I will use it for however long it lasts, tiss it, and never buy this brand again
