Seems well made. Applies some compression to lower thumb area to help prevent pain from strained thumb. The longer version extends further up wrist but that may get in the way of a wristwatch strap. If the wrist brace is smoothly installed, a watch may fit over the brace since the brace material is thin. The brace seems to wash & dry easily but may be bothersome if it gets wet while washing hands.

I had a laceration injury on the side of my hand just above the thumb, and the urgent care used an ace bandage to hold the dressing in place. This worked fine for a day while resting, but at work it moved around and wasn't working for me. Saw this support and ordered it and it worked perfectly to hold the dressing in place and as a bonus to help the swelling. There was 2 in the pack, which meant that when one got dirty I could change over to the other one while I washed the first one and let it dry . I washed it with a nail brush and some soft soap and it came up like new and dried perfectly. I had no allergic reaction to it, and no irritation. Its not particularly supportive, but it's perfect to hold a dressing in place and protect it from dirt and water.

Not worth the money. This product was flimsy and did not provide me with support. Rest and ice helped my injury recover the best. It turns out I was on my phone too much and overworking my thumbs by thumb scrolling and typing. I decreased my screen time and that was the solution along with muscle strengthening and grip strength work.

Good product, but the one I bought was too small, they didn't have an XL, it works good, but is tight.

I've purchased two sets of these. they feel good. they work very well. problem is they have very poor stitching around the thumb and they separate, then split open. they just don't hold up.. The stitching starts to come undone within 2 weeks of purchase. I'll stitch these around the thumb myself because I really like how these fit. they're very nice and snug. I just wish they would last longer.

Following joint replacement surgery on base of thumb 3 months ago, I was still transitioning from bulky splints. But I still needed some gentle support and some compression to keep swelling down. This is working perfectly for this purpose, and support splint use is almost eliminated. What is really nice is that the sleek profile means I can just slip the splint over it for temporary extra support. This is a well made product. The only issue is determining size needed. My hands usually need a men’s large for gloves. But if I want a tight fit, I buy mediums. I bought size medium and guessed right. It was a tight fit, but support and compression were perfect.

I originally read this as a soft brace itself- which it is not. It is not supportive or bracing in the least. But as a liner, it's perfect! It helps a GREAT deal when wearing an unlined brace, which most of mine are. Ah, the relief from that pinching velcro closure! You get two, and I have lost one, but I use the heck out of that one and I am probably going to buy more. Be warned that the flesh tone color stains/dirties easily and does not wash out as I hoped it would. So don't cut tomatoes with this on alone, it will stain. (That sounds like a "d'uh!" thing but this liner is so comfy I forget I have it on or just get too lazy to take it off. It has a nice feel!) Also, I have no idea how it is waterproof- I'd say it is not. I'm not sure what that claim even means in conjunction with this. I mean, if you get it wet, it's wet. But never mind that, it does everything else super well, is very comfortable, and makes life better if you wear a brace. Amen.

Useless. Dont bother wasting your money. Absolutely NO support
