Not sure on the noise reduction portion but its a solid clamp and works well connecting my exhaust fan and the charcoal filter. been sitting solid for a few months now and unless the fan is running at 80% or higher you don't hear anything in the room or while walking past it. It doesn't obstruct the airflow and I feel like its pretty durable and will outlast my filter.

Superior product, installs easily, holds well. I originally bought just two for installing the fan itself, but liked using them so much I bought three more to simplify other joins in the welding exhaust ducting I was constructing

I got this for a 4" exhaust fan in a small grow box and it works great. I have it in between the fan and a carbon filter. The rubber is very thick and does a great job of reducing noise from vibrations of the fan. The clamps that come with it are solid and keep a tight seal on the fan and filter. All of their products are fairly priced and this is no exception. Quality product at a great price makes this a must have. Nothing to dislike about this product whatsoever.

Very well made, easy to install, and makes joining my inline duct fan to the pipe much easier. I take the fan off about once a year to clean it...had been re-securing with foil tape each time, but now I can just un-clamp and re-clamp these fittings to remove the fan. Also helps in reducing the noise vibration from the fan. Diameter is good for 4" applications.

Definitely needed.If you want to secure your inline fan to the filter without using tape. Works well super functional, easy to install it's only two screws. I believe it is a bit pricey though.

If you’re doing ductwork, these things work amazingly well. If you have two crimped ends that need to fit, it’s no problem. Regular full size ends fit just as well. A big bonus is that they knock down the noise. The only downside is that I don’t like their clamps because the bolt seems metric, but a standard screwdriver usually works just fine.

High quality and connects my range hood 6" outlet and Vivosun carbon filter perfectly. No rubber odor is a plus.

Perfect method of joining the carbon filter and inline fan together. Docking a star because it should really just come with the fan/filter combo instead of being a separate purchase.

At first glance this may seem expensive. I bought two to mount my inline duct fan - same brand S6. These made the install simple as they slip along the duct allowing the fan to be inserted in the gap. Then they both slide back to engage with the fan before tightening the supplied clamps. The fan didn’t require any other support or fixings and the rubber deadens any vibration. There was no noise from this installation other than air movement based on how much air was moved. See my review of the S6 fan which is excellent. Final thought - the presentation in terms of the packaging was excellent.
