The one thing going for this taffy is that it tastes good. Just good, not great. However here is a list of all things wrong with it: 1. The flavor is muted. Expect this taffy to be about half as flavorful or less than your average saltwater taffy. 2. It seems like this variety pack is a ploy to offload unwanted product. More than half of this bag was Root Beer and Watermelon flavor, there were a few others mixed in, but much less than what you would expect from a product calling itself a "variety". Also the bag didn't even have some of the flavors shown in the images for this product. 3. It's very soft. To some this might not be a problem, but personally I like my taffy to be a bit harder. With this softness comes melting. This didn't affect me too much, but I did find that one piece had melted out of its wrapper and created a clump of stuck together pieces. As far as taffy goes this is fairly cheap, but I still would not buy for this price.

Bought these for my mom who loves salt water taffy. We were both Very happy with these. Love the bulk 5lb option. Came with a lot of pieces of candy. Perfect small snack size for a sugar craving. Each candy was individually wrapped. They arrived in perfect condition. Very soft and very very chewy. Tasted very fresh to me. This was a variety pack so it had different flavors. No idea what flavor til you ate it. Candy is two tone or three tone. While it’s a variety there are a lot of the same flavors. Love that each piece was individually wrapped and it was easy to open. All I had to do was untwist sides and open. If you like salt water taffy I would say this is great. Pieces are not very large but they have a great overall taste. Not hard at all - very soft.

I love salt water taffy. This taffy looks delicious. It isn't necessarily bad taffy, the flavors are not very distinct. I had one piece that looked like maybe leftover bits all put in 1 piece. It tasted pretty yuck. The others aren't yucky but it is difficult to tell what the flavors are. Most taffy has a pretty distinct flavor profile. These seem either very subdued or just muddled. I will try a different brand next time.

Nothing like true saltwater taffy. Overly sweet, can’t fully tell some of the flavors. Texture isn’t right, pieces are smaller than the normal ones. Can’t return them, and I’m so disappointed.

Poor quality taffy. Taffy should be very smooth and these have a slightly grainy feel in the mouth when you chew them. The worse part is trying to figure out what flavors they are. I have a very acute sense of taste. The first one was green and tasted like NOTHING. The light brown with black stripes tasted maybe like nutmeg, but was VERY subtle. The yellow was probably lemon. Barely lemon.The flavors should be bold and tasty. These had no real discernible flavors. Also, they were not solid enough. I don't mean hard, I mean texure. These were mushy-grainy even though it's winter time. So, no, they weren't melted.Waste of money and so disappointed. I grew up on the coast and know what excellent salt water taffy is like. This is not gourmet, more like gross. Did this come from Hideaway, Iowa?
