Pediatric Dragon Mask by Cardinal

Took a chance on the dragon pediatric nebulizer mask hoping it would be compatible with the Medline nebulizer my 5 year old was just prescribed. The product description didn't specify which models the mask would fit. The nebulizer itself came with the standard mouthpiece and tubing which she did well with at first but eventually she was over the treatments and they have become an irritation in her day and she gets sloppy and doesn't get as much of the Albuterol in her lungs as she should. She thought it was silly to be a dragon and loved the fact that the smoke came out of the dragon nose like a real dragon. The mask is easily adjustable and fit perfectly on her little face so all she had to do was breathe and watch her movie. The ease of use allowed as much of the Albuterol to reach her lungs as possible making her breathing treatment so much more effective. Would definitely recommend for an antsy little one needing a smile and a bit of fun to get through a not so fun treatment. I've included a picture of our particular nebulizer and our mask set up with it.

This mask is compatable with hospital issued vyair neb sets, fits into where a 22 mm t set adaptor would (just like an adult face mask). My kid loves it. I bought another.

We just found out that our six year old grandson has asthma. The hose we had for his nebulizer machine worked but wasn’t ideal. I was afraid he wasn’t getting enough of the medicine during a treatment. He is tiny and we just couldn’t get him to breathe right. We tried to explain a breathing technique of telling him to, “smell the flowers and blow out the candle’ but it just didn’t work. I bought this mask to try. It is perfect. He puts the mask on and watches a cartoon and gets the proper treatment. It is a perfect fit for him. It is tiny but is a good fit for him. The elastic band is strong and provides a great hold. The color is clear and the fun accents are bright pink. The elastic band is purple but I don’t care the color! It works great.
