This thing is explosive. It will make your room rumble, literally. Best purchases I've made in a long time. It's very basic, but if you have an effects pedal, you're done. It sounds amazing on its own, but a nice FX pedal will make the most out of it

Bought as a Christmas present for my daughter to go with her bass guitar. I must say that I think this is excellent value for money, delivery was within a few days and works perfectly with the Fender bass that we got her. I recommend this amp as a starter amp for beginners but it also could be used for band practise and even small gigs.

Wonderfully compact. None of the hiss and him others have complained of. Too much bass tone and the e string will burp a bit but it works well as a practice amp. Haven’t tried yet but I’m sure there is enough volume for a small acoustic gig. Very light too which is important for me. All in all I’m happy with this amp. Oh, Looks good too. I won’t be selling my GK in a hurry though.

good tone, not too heavy. compact -easily portable

There is nothing to dislike about this amp. Currently using with both active Washburn and Sire basses. Great tones and volume. Solid construction and overall fantastic value for money. I have the 15 watt version and use it just for practice at home. At volume setting 1 it's more than loud enough and I doubt my neighbours would be happy if I turned it up any higher. As a bassist of over 30 years, I am amazed at the overall quality of sound, tone & construction. I doubt you'll find anything close to comparison, especially in this price range. You won't be disappointed with this amp.

I must admit that it didn't cut it for me. There was a distinct lack of bottom end, which for me is crucial for bass. I took the front panel off to expose the speaker and found that it was so lightweight, it wouldn't do a tiny radio any justice. I plugged some studio headphones into the amp and found the sound was great. I decided to wreck the warranty and replaced the speaker with a more substantial one that had the freedom of movement to reproduce the bass notes properly. It sounds great now, but the warranty is void.
